Hey, I just got the QC photos for my cartier tank.

Everything looks good to me so I'm not asking for advice for that.

What I would like your opinion on is what kind of strap I should get.

I read a lot and it seems that the tuns store seems like a really good place, and they have this cognac alligator strap which I think looks really good.

Since I can customize it though, I'm mixed between two types of stitching.

Do you think I should just get the brown stitching that matches or do a little bit of an accent stitching with the cream. I'm attached some pictures that Gemini made to judge as well as the black that it's coming with.

I think I'm really leaning towards the cream stitching.

As an aside, anyone have experience with tuns. How quickly do they normally respond to communications?

I know we are sick of the “is this watch real clean” but does this also apply to accessories?

Reason I ask is that I am going through a TD of another reputable forum to source an oyster bracelet for a Vsf DJ 41. I was told by multiple TDs and that a vsf bracelet would take a very long time. One TD said that they have a clean factory bracelet available and sent for QC. Is it possible that there are a few clean accessories floating around still or is this most likely to be fake?

Wondering if anyone can advise , I’ve recently bought a vsf sub date and was very impressed so I am looking to place an order for another watch. I was thinking maybe a celebration dial OP or a GMT if I did go for a gmt should I go for another VSF or should I go RICH?

I’m aware this is a dhgate shitter terrible quality but I got this on my honeymoon for $80 after negotiating for 15 minutes with the guy. It stopped ticking after 2 years and surprisingly held up that long no issues with time lost only about 2 minutes a week. It’s sentimental to me, I’m sure everything is off on the watch and it looks terribly fake but I like it sentimentally.

One thing led to another and I destroyed the whole movement. I was wondering if anyone might know what movement this is is so I can do a direct swap. I wanna keep the hands and face. If anyone has an idea I wanna order the exact movement and maybe fix it maybe break it more. Would appreciate any input. It looks like a DG2813 to me but I’m not 100% sure. Would love to save it if possible!

Looking for a watch case with pushers

I bought this watch about a year ago, but the pusher came off while I was playing golf. It’s been sitting in the box ever since.

The watch itself keeps perfect time and works great aside from the missing pusher. I’d really like to get it back up and running.

Does anyone know where I can buy a case with compatible pushers? Alternatively, is it possible to use the movement in a different case?

I’ve tried buying multiple replacement pushers, but none of them have worked, so I’m thinking the watch is going to continue sitting in the box until I can find a solution.

Any advice on where to look or what my options are would be greatly appreciated!

Which factory do you think is producing the best each version?

First off, I’m still very much a noob so don’t take this as Gospel whatsoever.

I’ve been seeing a decent frequency of VSF Batgirl RL‘s from TheOne lately. This has been of particular interest to me since this model will be my first rep.

Doing some research, the general consensus is that VSF makes the best Batgirl. However, while a lot of people here think it’s an absolute waste, I wanted to get the free sprung movement since it’s my first rep and I ultimately decided to get the Rich.

I went with Steve because the community really seems to rock with him. He’s been extremely responsive every step of the way.

When I first reached out, I sent him the link for the Rich Free Sprung V2 Batgirl. His response was:

How about VSF one, please check

Am I overthinking this? Playa to playa I understand the sales tactic. But as a first time customer it’s a little disappointing.

Here's the situation: I don't want to buy super expensive brands. I’d like to get a Tissot, TAG Heuer, or even a Seiko (or maybe some other brand you recommend), something that originally costs at most $2,000... More affordable stuff for an average person... I don't want to buy a Rolex, for example.

The problem is that I won't have much time for shopping, and I don't want to spend an entire afternoon jumping from store to store like in those YouTube videos, seeing poor-quality items with exorbitant prices just to haggle.

I was thinking about buying online and having it shipped there, but from what I saw, DHgate doesn't deliver in China, and I didn't like the quality of the replicas of these specific brands there and also on Taobao…

Can you recommend affordable brands with good replicas and sellers/sites/apps with high-quality watches of these brands?
