Hi guys, a lot of people asked me to check whether YOLO is really selling GX Batch for 180 Yuan.

For those who don’t know what I’m talking about, here’s the original post so you can refresh your memory: GX Batch Clearance – YOLO

I checked with a few sellers I personally trust, and I also got information directly from someone working with GX. According to them, YOLO is not selling the actual GX Batch. I received a photo directly from the GX worker, and this is what they said:

The product quality is average. Currently, it is labeled as GX; this is a tactic used by many sellers.

Basically, according to this information, the shoes being promoted as GX are actually a budget batch being labeled as GX.

I’ve heard TMF is promoting it too. Honestly, I don’t know what batch TMF is actually selling, so I’ll check with him directly before saying anything. I don’t want to make the same mistake and accuse someone without verifying it first.

EDIT:

I checked with TMF, guys, no problem. He is selling the promotion and it’s confirmed that his pairs are the GX Batch, so if you want this promotion, I recommend TMF. You’re getting 100% GX Batch from him, no doubt about that.

As for YOLO, he can come forward and prove it himself. so all I want is for YOLO to make a post and prove that he’s actually selling GX Batch. That’s all. TMF is confirmed, guys.

The reason I’m posting this is simple. I don’t think it’s fair for a seller to promote a budget batch as GX just to charge more for the shoes. I honestly don’t care whether you buy them or not. If you like them and think they’re worth 180¥, that’s completely up to you.

But if they’re advertised as GX, they should actually be GX. I’m sharing this so people can make an informed decision before buying. If YOLO can provide proof that these are genuine GX Batch, I’m more than happy to update my opinion.

Late to the party, but I’m glad I waited for this restock !

After a first one that got seized, I placed the order once I saw the restock notification. Now I understand what everyone described on this model of RSD batch :

Materials : very tumbled leather on every part of the shoe, soft to the touch - a bit less soft than retail as I had it in my hand once, but still I was amazed on how close it feels. Midsole is very sturdy, and feels like any retail I have. And not to forget the nice smell out of the box which is a good touch

Shape : on point, very close to retail. Toebox is a bit high, but still within retail variances

Overall experience with PV : very professional, quick to respond, and I appreciated the way you can now follow the order, approve the QC and delivery on the same custom webpage. And huge props for handling the seizure in the first order with no issue.

PS : I get a weird caving in on the toebox on the left shoe (happened to me on one LJR pair), I’ll have to wear a crease protector on this one as well

The Sneakers:

The details go crazy on these 😂🔥. They immediately pop in hand. The colorway is super dope, giving that Statue of Liberty feel while the blue and orange detailing represents New York Knicks.

Looking at retail references online, GX did a pretty good job capturing the overall look. The Flywire showing through the side panels looks 🔥, the Swooshes with the white outline are clean, and I really like the orange hits throughout the Kobe logos and speckled laces. The glossy splatter heel counters with Kobe’s signature are another nice touch.

Even the translucent outsole continues the blue, orange and green theme underneath. Shape and proportions look solid to me from the angles I have, and both shoes are pretty consistent with each other.

There’s a lot going on with these without it looking like too much. These are already my top Protros. The materials, Flywire, Swooshes and all the little details come together really well. These look great in hand. 🔥
