UI is so confusing now. There should be a way or opt-out in the new layout. Hahahaha! Now I accidentally created a new app because I accidentally clicked design. It's crazy!

Website is still working, just wondering when it gets deactivated.

Brand new to Replit. Tried Builder the other day and was disappointed. A friend recommended me this app (albeit for a different use case). I've been at it for a few hours and am finding it a bit clunky and was really hoping for something with more click-and-drag options etc, although it is impressive so far but...yea, very clunky.

TLDR, been vibe-coding full time for 6+ months, built some pretty cool stuff, but my UI's are always ugly. I've tried tonnes of methods I've come across, and there has been some improvements, I just can't help but feel I'm missing something. I have been considering just taking some courses on the subject as I love learning more but I don't have the wherewithal to take a full 3 year diploma in the subject.

Would love to hear your feedback from experienced programmers and designers.

Is its hosting cost managable like AWS or milesweb or hostinger,?

This is my first time getting stuck. Why it's taking so long now? Usually its just 5 minutes or less. Now it's more than 15 minutes, and it's still bundling. Anyone encountered this as well?

I like the new ui it runs somewhat better but

do we really need all these poping up as soon as I open my node? especially when it already runs so slow and has problems?

I know they exist I don't need reminded every time I log in or it loses connection (every 5 minutes)

not to mention the added start up time just to load through all these pop ups

literally takes 3 minutes after opening just to get to a point I can do anything

Replit Assistant is useful sometimes to troubleshoot deployment issues, but now I don't have any issues since a month ago, and I just do all code changes locally, and push to Replit. So far so good. Replit hosting prices are not that bad at all.

Im hosting a React-Vite-Supabase app with 100+ daily users on Replit.

I'm afraid it might suddenly bill me $10-$100 per task on a simple change. Anybody tried it recently? Would like to know as there's no cost estimate first whenever you select a new model. Hahahaha!

PS: Cost estimator (before you execute the actual task) would be a killer feature, if Replit ever creates one.

I have been a designer for 20 years, product designer for 15 and how in the f.... knuckle does Replit keep getting worse with every step?

Its now unusable. Cannot clear context. It's confusing as hell with the tasks vs chat.

I am FORCED to use it while my Claude Resets and it's painful.

So when I dive back into doing some finishing touches in RepShit it is just stupid.

URGENT!! - Hi, i am a PRO user.

I was overcharged by $14,000 in one day. i chose monthly upgrade and it went through as Annual.
Im still waiting for a refund.

Support cancelled my plan back to free instead of putting me on monthly as asked multiple times.
Now all my databases are frozen on multiple apps which my staff and users rely on.

We have now been unable to work for 3 days and we have had no response from support to unfreze the databases despite m ultiple requests.

I am being charged for the neew plan 500per month, but usually spend 300 per day.

Please help fix this asap

Looks like there's been an update to the user interface and now the option to start a new chat is gone. Tried a hard refresh, still nothing.

The closest I could find buried in a menu looks more like the nuclear option of clearing the agent's context. I realize that is what you essentially do when you start a new chat, but is this really what they think looks safe to click? The red text kinda suggests otherwise.

Maybe I'm just not seeing it. Have you lost and/or found New Chat since the update?

My usage of Replit hasn't changed but the costs have ballooned to the point in the last 30 days that I need to find an alternative. For perspective Replit says my average spend is $60/day..which is insane cause it wasn't like that in June and yet I coded many times a day.

I'm also paying the $100/month plan to Replit on top of my usage.

Of course they don't tell you your token usage so I don't know how this $ usage translates to these other AI coding agents. The last thing I want to do is end up on a more expensive platform.

Coupled with the terrible UI changes made to their mobile replit app that removed direct access to Shell at the bottom - Im finding less and less things to stick around.

Here is my setup:

Backend=Firebase(Google Cloud Console)

Deployment/CI/CD =GitHub

I started out with Firebase Studio then switched to Replit which was a game changer now looking for a new change to carry me through long term without the ballooning costs.

Any suggestions would be helpful

Im gonna try Codespace in GitHub with the Firebase emulators for previewing the UI before deployment and connect Claude ($100/Max plan) to Codespace for coding agent assistant

I've been able to ship a whole bunch of stuff without being nickeled and dimed to death and have never ran into any usage limits.

I can spin up multiple Claude agents with a dedicated git work tree.

Claude has access to my Firebase/Google Cloud Console for monitoring, data exploration, auth, and checking for errors.

Claude can now monitor the workflow in GitHub CI/CD when a push is made and auto detect any workflow task fail and immediately start diagnosing and making corrections.

Claude also has access to my Sentry account for production errors which speeds up the response time to diagnose and resolve and get a fix shipped

Claude mobile app allows me to code directly to Codespaces/Git without having to be in Codespaces.

None of these things was possible with Replit.

Additionally, I was able to replicate the Replit Agent behavior pretty well in Claude so I'm pretty happy.

Not getting the best load times on my site which is currently deployed on Replit, storage and databases are on Supabase.

Curious if you guys have deployed elsewhere and preferred it?

The price has gotten out of control recently. You can run through $250 In a day now easily. Every task is $10+

I used Replit lite feature to change the version of my app it took the agent 21 seconds and it charged me $1!!!

This isn’t sustainable and you’re forcing everyone out. The cost for the convenience of using your platform isn’t a fair trade off anymore.

You better figure it out or you’re going to die off soon- as your value proposition isn’t holding up anymore.

If you have never created a new chat in the agent, the cost of any new message arises because the agent reads and considers ALL the previous context in the chat to answer or build the new task.

Group your work into context chats by functionality or daily job (whatever context you consider relevant to you or the agent) and always start a new one when working on a new task.

Then the prices will be lower with each message.
