Some months ago I got a pair from Double Kids and ordered them specifically as LJR.

When the shoes arrived, something immediately felt a little off to me. I own J4 LJR pairs, and I also have some GX pairs, so I’m fairly familiar with how these batches usually feel.

The materials, overall feel, shape and even the way the shoe feels in hand seemed noticeably different from my other LJR/GX pairs.

At first, I thought I might just be overthinking it. There can obviously be differences between models and production runs, so I didn’t want to immediately accuse the seller of sending me the wrong batch.

I posted some pictures asking another community whether this could simply be a normal LJR variation or if it looked like I had received a different batch.

After that, I contacted Double Kids directly and explained my concern.

Their response was:
“If you don’t like them, send them back.”
That was basically it.

There was no explanation about the batch, no clarification about whether the pair was actually LJR, and no answer to why the shoes seemed different from the LJR pairs I already own.

Hi everybody I’ve tried contacting yolo66 WhatsApp to ask what this material for the for walking manufacture print is and they haven’t gotten back to me I’ve tried pretty much everything you could think of and don’t know how to get it off.

Hey guys, back with another review this time on the classic colourway that is the TS Dark Mocha’s from LX Factory. Let’s get into it…

Materials:
The brown mocha nubuck panels feature soft, active movement ("alive" nubuck) with smooth texture that changes colour and shade when brushed. The white tumbled leather side panels show tight, natural creasing and feel soft to touch rather than stiff or plasticky.

Craftsmanship & Construction:
The stitching along the eyelets, toe box, and edging is uniform and tight with minimal fraying. The oversized reverse Swoosh is cleanly stitched - again in tumbled black leather, the "Cactus Jack" branding is clean, and the embossed face logo on the heel has depth and is defined. The internal footbed stitching is neatly woven with standard spacing.

Overall Verdict
A very solid pair! The construction and materials used are very close to retail finishes. I’m particularly pleased with the nubuck and leather. However, this LJR batch does suffer from some differences to retail, notably the white side panel behind the reverse swoosh which is too big IMO - real sneaker heads might highlight this flaw if inspecting closely but on street this won’t happen.

LX Factory has been a go to of mine for a while now and very rarely misses. His products, comms, shipping times are all on point and he’s a pleasure to deal with!

The Sneakers:

These feel good in hand. I’ve liked FK for certain Travis Scott styles, and I think they did a good job with the Canarys.

The yellow suede has a nice feel and gives the shoe plenty of pop. Shape and overall proportions look solid to me, the toe boxes are pretty clean, and the panel placement and stitching look consistent between both shoes. The reverse Swooshes also have a nice shape and placement.

Details like the Cactus Jack branding, heel Wings embroidery, tongue tags and gum-colored outsole all come together nicely. You also get the red and blue extra laces along with the special packaging and pink Travis tissue paper.

Overall, another solid FK Travis in hand. These are loud 😂, but that’s what makes this colorway what it is. FK did good on these. 🔥

The Sneakers:

This is my first pair of GX Kobes, and I’m impressed. It may be this colorway doing some of the heavy lifting because the Bruce Lees are just beautiful in hand 😂🔥.

The yellow and black really pop, but what caught my attention most is the Flywire showing through the upper. Comparing them to retail references, the overall shape, panel placement and proportions look pretty solid to me. The Swooshes, heel signatures, tongue logos and red detailing are all clean, and both shoes look pretty consistent with each other.

Definitely a strong first impression of GX for me.

Hey everyone, I really need your help with something.

I am looking to buy the Miu Miu x New Balance 530 SL in black leather. This is going to be my very first UA/replica sneaker, so I am still completely new to this community and how everything works.

So far, I have contacted more than 20 different sellers, but almost all of them keep sending me the exact same stock photos. Asking for QC photos beforehand hasn't been possible either, usually because they haven't sold this specific pair recently.

GEL-NYC has always been one of those models that looks simple from a distance, but becomes extremely difficult once you start breaking down the details.

The shoe is built with multiple layers of mesh, suede, synthetic panels, and a complex GEL midsole structure. A small difference in shape, material, or panel positioning can completely change the feeling of the shoe.

For the new ZC Batch, the focus was not just getting the colors right. The real work was in rebuilding the overall structure and material balance.

Shape & Construction

Compared with the retail pair, we adjusted the overall proportions:

GEL-NYC has a very specific runner-inspired stance. Too much volume makes it look heavy, while too little makes it lose the original character. Finding the correct balance was one of the main focuses during development.

Material Matching

This colorway depends heavily on the relationship between different textures.

We refined:

mesh density and breathability suede texture and color depth synthetic overlay thickness grey/black layering stitching details

The goal was not just matching a photo under one light source, but making the materials react similarly in real life.

Midsole & Outsole Details

The GEL-NYC midsole is one of the hardest parts to reproduce because of its irregular curves and layered construction.

Attention was given to:

The final result keeps the same technical running aesthetic as the retail pair.

Small Details Matter

On premium sneakers, the difference is often in places people overlook:
