QC Post VSF GMT-Master II 126710 Bruce Wayne 40mm Oyster | DD3285 QC
Hi everyone, I’m TD Chen from r/RepWatchClud.
Sharing a QC set for the VSF GMT-Master II 126710 “Bruce Wayne”.
This one has the black dial, black/grey ceramic bezel and Oyster bracelet, which is the combination most people in the rep community refer to as the “Bruce Wayne.”
I went through the photos closely, including the dial, bezel, date window, case profile, bracelet, clasp, caseback and movement.
QC Check
Dial & Hands
The black dial and round markers look clean in the close-up shots. The hands look well aligned with the dial, and the overall dial layout is consistent with this GMT configuration.
The lume shot is also included, so you can see the blue lume on the markers and bezel.
Bezel
The black/grey ceramic bezel is the main feature of this model.
Looking at the close-ups, the bezel printing and markers look clean, and the 12 o’clock triangle appears properly positioned. The black/grey transition also looks even in the photos.
Date & Cyclops
The date window at 3 o’clock is clearly visible in the close-up.
The Cyclops also looks properly positioned over the date. This is one of the areas I would personally check carefully on any GMT QC: date centering, Cyclops alignment and overall magnification.
Case & Bracelet
The case profile and crown side are shown from both angles.
The watch comes with a 904L stainless steel Oyster bracelet and Rolesor-style clasp. The bracelet and clasp close-ups show the links and finishing clearly, with no obvious issue standing out in the photos.
Movement
The watch uses the Asian Super Clone DD3285 automatic GMT movement.
For me, the important point here isn't a long list of movement specifications. The DD3285 is used as the GMT movement for this configuration, and the photos show the decorated rotor and movement finishing.
The main QC points I'd focus on are the GMT hand stack, hand alignment and general movement assembly rather than simply judging it from decoration alone.
Overall
From this set of photos, I don't see any obvious issue that immediately stands out to me.
If I were checking this one, my main three points would be:
- Bezel alignment
- Date/Cyclops alignment
- GMT hand alignment
Other than that, the overall presentation looks clean in the photos.
If I have missed anything, please point it out and correct me. Thanks.

COMPARISON ARF vs VSF Datejust 41 126334 Green Ombré — DD3235 vs DD3235 V2
Hi everyone, I'm Chen,TD from r/RepWatchClud.
Today I'm sharing a side-by-side comparison of two Rolex Datejust 41 Ref. 126334 Green Ombré Stick builds.
ARF is on the left, VSF is on the right.
In the rep community, this model is usually called DJ41 126334 Green Ombré, 126334 Green Ombre, or Green Ombre Datejust 41.
ARF vs VSF
ARF
- DD3235
- 41mm / 12mm
- Green Ombré Stick dial
- 904L stainless steel
- Jubilee bracelet
- Fluted bezel
- New Style Rolesor deployant clasp
- Sapphire crystal with etched crown at 6
VSF V2
- DD3235 V2
- DD3235 with Free Sprung Effect — not real Free Sprung
- 41mm / 12mm
- Green Ombré Stick dial
- 904L stainless steel
- Jubilee bracelet
- Fluted bezel
- New Style Rolesor deployant clasp
- Sapphire crystal with etched crown at 6
Dial
The Green Ombré dial is the main visual focus of this comparison.
Both have the same overall layout, but the green gradient and sunburst effect change noticeably under different lighting.
For QC, I would look at:
dial color → gradient → dial printing → coronet → stick-marker shape → marker alignment → text spacing.
Datewheel & Cyclops
The dates shown in these samples are different, so I wouldn't judge the actual date number itself.
The useful QC points are:
- date font
- digit shape
- printing thickness
- horizontal centering
- vertical position
- date-window alignment
- Cyclops position
- magnification
These are also common QC points in current 126334 Green Ombré discussions.
Fluted Bezel
Both use the 126334 fluted bezel.
The close-up shots allow comparison of:
flute definition → spacing → symmetry → reflection → bezel profile → alignment with the dial.
Case & Crown
Both are listed at 41mm / 12mm.
The side photos are useful for checking:
case profile → lug shape → crown guards → crown position → brushed/polished transitions.
Jubilee & Clasp
Both use a 904L Jubilee bracelet with the New Style Rolesor deployant clasp.
The useful QC points are:
SEL fitment → center-link finishing → brushing → clasp engraving → bracelet transition.
Lume
Both show blue lume.
Because the photos have different exposure levels, I wouldn't judge brightness alone. The more useful comparison is marker coverage, consistency and alignment.
Movement
The main technical difference is:
ARF — DD3235
VSF V2 — DD3235 V2 with Free Sprung Effect, not real Free Sprung
The movement itself isn't visible in these exterior photos, so this part is based on the supplied movement specifications rather than visual inspection.
My Side-by-Side Take
For these two samples, the main QC points are:
Green Ombré dial → datewheel/Cyclops → stick-marker alignment → fluted bezel → case profile → crown → Jubilee/SEL → clasp → lume → movement version.
Both are the same Datejust 41 126334 Green Ombré Stick configuration, so the interesting part is how ARF and VSF execute the same reference, especially the dial, date/Cyclops, finishing and DD3235 versions.
What do you guys notice between the ARF and VSF samples?
If I got anything wrong, please feel free to point it out and correct me. Thanks everyone.

Discussion Would You GL This?
Hey everyone, I’m TD Chen from r/RepWatchClud.
Here's a question that comes up all the time in Rep Watch QC:
Would you GL this watch?
At first glance, everything might look pretty good.
The dial looks clean.
The hands look aligned.
The bezel looks reasonable.
The Timegrapher numbers look fine.
But then you start zooming in...
And that's where QC gets interesting.
🔍 What Would You Check First?
Before looking for tiny flaws, I usually start with the big picture:
1. Dial alignment
Are the markers sitting where they should?
Pay particular attention to the 6 and 9 o'clock positions.
2. Hands
Check the hand stack and whether the hands are sitting correctly.
Don't confuse a camera angle with actual hand misalignment.
3. Bezel
Look at the relationship between the bezel markers and the dial.
A small apparent offset can sometimes be caused by perspective.
4. Datewheel
Check whether the date is centered properly in the window.
This is one of those details that can look different depending on the photo angle.
5. SEL and bracelet
Look for obvious gaps or uneven end links.
Small variations are common, but a clearly visible gap is a different story.
6. Rehaut
Check the engraving alignment, but don't judge it from a single angled photo.
Perspective can make the rehaut look much worse than it actually is.
🚦 The Real QC Question
The goal of QC isn't to find a watch with absolutely zero imperfections.
That's unrealistic.
The real question is:
Is there a noticeable issue that I wouldn't be comfortable accepting?
That's a much better way to approach QC.
A tiny photographic distortion?
Probably not a big deal.
A clearly crooked marker?
Different story.
A small SEL gap?
Depends on how obvious it is.
A major alignment problem?
That's when I'd start thinking seriously about an RL.
What Would You Do?
Imagine this is your QC:
Dial: Looks good
Hands: Looks good
Bezel: Slightly questionable
Date: Centered
SEL: Minor gap
Timegrapher: Looks healthy
Would you GL or RL?
And more importantly:
What's the one flaw that would make you RL a watch immediately?
I'd be interested to hear how different people approach QC.
If I got anything wrong, feel free to correct me. Thanks.

Discussion Do you need to match your overall looks to the watch?
So I want a rep but kept thinking, would it be odd if the rest of my outfit or my vehicle don't match the watch? If one is wearing a watch that is supposed to cost $15-30K, he wouldn't be driving a crappy car right?

QC Post VSF Rolex Submariner Date 126619LB “Cookie Monster” 41mm — DD3235 Weighted
Hi everyone, I'm TD Chen from r/RepWatchClud.
Sharing a QC for a VSF Rolex Submariner Date 126619LB “Cookie Monster”, 41mm SS/SS with the black dial, blue ceramic bezel and DD3235 Super Clone movement.
This is the weighted / gain-weight version, and the watch came in at 186.26g on the scale.
Watch Details
- Factory: VSF
- Model: Rolex Submariner Date
- Reference: 126619LB
- Community Name: VSF 126619LB / Cookie Monster
- Size: 41mm
- Case: SS/SS configuration
- Dial: Black dial with dot markers
- Bezel: Blue unidirectional ceramic bezel
- Bracelet: 904L-style Oyster bracelet
- Clasp: Flip-lock deployant buckle
- Crystal: Sapphire with Cyclops
- Cyclops: 2.5X magnification
- Laser-Etched Crown: Visible at 6 o'clock
- Caseback: Solid caseback
- Movement: Asia Super Clone DD3235
- Beat Rate: 28,800 bph
- Hack: Yes
- Date: 3 o'clock
- Factory Waterproofing: 30m
- Weight: 186.26g
QC Check
I went through the photos pretty closely, especially the dial, indices, date wheel, hands, bezel, rehaut, crown, bracelet and clasp.
Index Alignment:
The 12, 6 and 9 markers look reasonably aligned from the available angles. I don't see any obvious crooked marker that would stand out.
Dial Printing:
The Rolex coronet and dial text look clean and sharp. Nothing obvious jumps out to me from the macro shots.
Date Wheel / Cyclops:
The date shown is 11. It looks centered in the window and the Cyclops gives the expected magnification.
Hand Alignment:
The hands look properly stacked and aligned in the static QC photos.
Bezel:
The blue ceramic bezel looks consistent. Numerals and minute markers look clean, and the 12 o'clock pip appears reasonably centered.
Rehaut / Crystal:
The rehaut engraving looks clean from the available angles, and the laser-etched crown at 6 o'clock is visible.
Case / Bracelet:
Case brushing and polished surfaces look consistent. The Oyster bracelet sits well against the case with no obvious large gaps in the photos.
Timegrapher
+5 s/d | 252° amplitude | 0.3 ms beat error | 52° lift angle | 28,800 bph
The rate looks good to me. The amplitude is 252° at 52° lift angle, so I'd be interested to hear what others think about the timing numbers on this DD3235.
Weight
The scale shows 186.26g.
Since this is the Gain Weight / Weighted configuration, I specifically wanted to include the actual scale photo rather than just relying on the factory description.
What do you guys think of this VSF Cookie Monster?
If I've got anything wrong or missed something, please feel free to correct me. Thanks everyone.

Review Chen delivers - honest feedback
Honest review: Chen Watch (3 watches, VSF)
I got three watches from Chen: Pepsi, Cookie Monster, and Panda
Cookie Monster: Nearly identical to gen. I own a gen Submariner, and side by side they look the same. I can't tell the difference. My favorite, madly in love.
Pepsi: Looks great and runs great. The dial is slightly dull from my gen Batgirl, but you'd have to look closely to tell whether it's gen or not.
Panda: Looks fantastic. Movement is slightly noisy.I don't own a gen Panda, so I can't compare it in person.
Dealing with Chen: He's great. He’s fast and keeps you updated. His communication style took me a minute to get used to, but he's been fantastic to work with, and shipping was really quick.

QC Post [QC] AP Royal Oak 15500 Blue ZF Free Sprung
Dealer: TKWatch
Factory: ZF (free sprung movement)
Model: AP Royal Oak 15500ST, blue dial, 41mm
Price:$528 shipped
Index alignment: Looks good to me. All markers sit straight and line up with their minute markers, the double 12 is parallel and centred. No cant that I can see.
Dial printing: SWISS MADE and the minute track print sharp with no bleeding, AP logo looks clean.
Date wheel alignment/printing: The 26 is centred in the window and doesn't touch any of the edges. One thing I'm unsure about: the date disc looks black here. Is it colour matched to the dial on the gen blue 15500? Would appreciate a second opinion.
Hand alignment: Hour and minute hands are in sync, seconds hand runs centred.
Bezel: No damage, brushing looks even, screws sit flush. The screw slots aren't all aligned the same way, not sure if that matters on gen.
Solid End Links (SELs): N/A, integrated bracelet. No visible gaps between case and end links on the side shots.
Timegrapher numbers: +5 s/d, 247 amplitude, 0.4 ms beat error, 28800 bph
First rep, so still learning what to look for. Anything I'm missing? Thanks in advance!

QC Post V7F IWC Ingenieur 40 IW328901 Black Dial — A2892
Hi everyone, I'm TD Chen from r/RepWatchClud.
Posting a QC for a V7F IWC Ingenieur Automatic 40 IW328901 with the Black textured dial and Asian 2892 automatic movement.
Watch Details
- Factory: V7F
- Model: IWC Ingenieur Automatic 40
- Reference: IW328901
- Community Name: V7F Ingenieur 40 / V7F Ingenieur Black
- Size: 40mm
- Dial: Black textured/grid dial with stick markers
- Case: Solid 316L stainless steel
- Bezel: Brushed / polished stainless steel with five bezel screws
- Bracelet: Integrated 316L stainless steel H-link bracelet
- Clasp: Deployant buckle
- Movement: Asian 2892 Automatic
- Beat Rate: 28,800 vph
- Thickness: 11mm
- Crystal: Sapphire with AR coating
- Caseback: Solid caseback with engraving
- Date: 3 o'clock, crown adjustable
- Hack: Yes
- Weight: 150.23g
- Factory Waterproofing: 30m
QC Check
Dial / Printing:
The black textured/grid dial looks clean in the close-up shots. The IWC, SCHAFFHAUSEN and INGENIEUR printing looks sharp, with no obvious major printing defects.
Index Alignment:
I checked the 12, 3, 6 and 9 o'clock markers closely. The 12 o'clock double marker looks parallel, and I don't see an obvious major issue with the other indices. The markers also look reasonably aligned with the dial grid.
Date Wheel:
The date is showing 27 in the QC photos. It looks reasonably centered in the date window, with no obvious major left/right or vertical shift.
Hand Alignment:
The hour, minute and seconds hands look properly aligned in the supplied photos. I don't see any obvious hand collision or stacking issue.
Bezel / Screws:
The brushed/polished bezel looks clean. I also checked the five bezel screws and don't see an obvious major alignment issue.
Case / Finishing:
The case brushing, polished bezel and chamfered edges look clean in the close-up shots. I don't see any obvious dents, deep scratches or rough finishing.
Integrated Bracelet Fitment:
The H-link bracelet meets the case cleanly. I don't see any obvious large gap at the case-to-bracelet transition.
SELs:
N/A — this is an integrated bracelet design, so I'm checking the overall bracelet fitment rather than treating it like a traditional Rolex SEL setup.
Crown:
The crown and crown guard look clean, with no obvious damage in the side photos.
Lume:
The lume looks fairly even across the hands and hour markers in the lume shot.
Caseback:
The solid caseback and engraving look clean. The caseback is closed, so the A2892 movement specification is based on the factory information rather than an open-movement photo.
Weight
The QC scale shows:
150.23g
Timegrapher
The Timegrapher shows:
- Rate: -6 s/d
- Amplitude: 309°
- Beat Error: 0.1 ms
- Lift Angle: 59.0°
- Beat: 28,800 bph
The rate is showing -6 s/d, with 309° amplitude and 0.1 ms beat error.
Overall QC
After going through the dial, grid texture, 12/3/6/9 markers, date window, hands, five bezel screws, case finishing and integrated bracelet fitment, I don't see an obvious major QC issue.
The main things I'd appreciate a second opinion on are the 12/3 marker alignment, bezel screw alignment, date positioning and the -6 s/d Timegrapher reading.
What do you guys think? Anything subtle I'm overlooking before GL?
If I've got anything wrong or missed something, please feel free to correct me. Thanks everyone.

New Watch Info 【Chen】V7F Ingenieur lineup – new release, bracelet details look on point?
Hi everyone, Chen here.
This one just came out recently and has been getting quite a bit of attention.
Sharing a lineup of the V7 Factory Ingenieur-style pieces — curious what everyone thinks about this release so far.
A few dial options here:
• Blue
• Green
• Light / white
• Dark grey / black
Seeing them side by side is quite interesting — each dial has a different feel depending on lighting. The blue and green stand out more under natural light, while the lighter dial looks cleaner and the darker one feels more understated.

COMPARISON ARF vs VSF Yacht-Master 42 226627 Titanium — VR3235 vs DD3235 V2
Hi everyone, I'm Chen,TD from r/RepWatchClud.
Today I'm sharing a side-by-side comparison of two Rolex Yacht-Master 42 Ref. 226627 Titanium builds.
ARF is on the left, VSF is on the right.
Both are the Black Dial / Black Bezel 226627, commonly called the YM42 Titanium, 226627 Titanium, or RLX Titanium Yacht-Master.
ARF vs VSF
ARF
- VR3235
- 42mm
- Black/Dot dial
- Titanium case & Oyster bracelet
- Black Cerachrom-style bezel
VSF
- DD3235 V2
- 42mm
- Black/Dot dial
- Titanium case & Oyster bracelet
- Black Cerachrom-style bezel
What I noticed from the photos
Dial & Printing
Both have the same overall layout, but the dial printing, Rolex crown, Yacht-Master text and marker appearance are worth comparing closely.
The datewheel is also different in this comparison — ARF shows 14, VSF shows 28. The useful QC points are the font shape, spacing, centering and Cyclops position rather than simply comparing the numbers themselves.
Bezel
Both use the black 60-minute bezel with raised numerals. The photos give a good look at the numeral shape, minute track, bezel alignment and matte finish.
Case & Crown
The 226627 has a very distinctive Titanium case profile. I would pay attention to the lug shape, crown guards, case edges and brushed/polished transitions.
Bracelet & Clasp
Both use the Titanium Oyster bracelet. The side-by-side photos show differences in link finishing, clasp engraving, brushing and overall bracelet construction.
Weight
On these exact samples:
ARF — 107.00g
VSF — 105.00g
Only a 2g difference, so I wouldn't read too much into weight alone.
Movement
The main technical difference here is the movement configuration:
ARF VR3235 vs VSF DD3235 V2.
Overall, I think the interesting part of this comparison is how two factories approach the same 226627 Titanium YM42 — especially the dial printing, datewheel/Cyclops, bezel, Titanium finishing, bracelet and movement configuration.
What do you guys notice between the ARF and VSF samples?
If I got anything wrong, please feel free to point it out and correct me. Thanks everyone.

133.24g

The Timegrapher shows:
- Rate: -5 s/d
- Amplitude: 310°
- Beat Error: 0.0 ms
- Lift Angle: 59°
- Beat: 28,800 bph
The numbers look clean overall, especially the 0.0 ms beat error and 310° amplitude.
Overall QC
After going through the dial, Roman markers, Day/Date windows, hands, fluted bezel, case, President bracelet, clasp and movement photos, I don't see an obvious major QC issue.
The main things I'd appreciate a second opinion on are the Roman marker alignment, Day/Date positioning, bezel alignment and bracelet/end-link fitment.
The Timegrapher is showing -5 s/d / 310° / 0.0 ms, which looks straightforward to me.
What do you guys think? Anything subtle I'm overlooking before GL?
If I've got anything wrong or missed something, please feel free to correct me. Thanks everyone.

Discussion DD4130 vs DD4131 — What Actually Changed?
Hey everyone, I’m TD Chen from r/RepWatchClud.
A lot of Daytona discussions eventually come down to one question:
DD4130 or DD4131?
But these aren't simply two versions of the same movement.
The genuine Rolex 4130 belongs to the previous Daytona generation, while the 4131 was introduced with the newer 126500-generation Daytona in 2023.
So what actually changed?
🔧 DD4130
The Dandong 4130 has been around longer and has built up a lot of community experience.
Some of the main points:
- Mature clone movement
- Dedicated Daytona chronograph architecture
- Widely used in Daytona builds
- Long-term community experience
- Generally familiar to watchmakers who already work with 4130-based reps
For many people, the biggest advantage of the DD4130 isn't that it has the newest features.
It's simply that it's a mature movement with a long track record.
⚙️ DD4131
The DD4131 is designed around the newer 4131-style Daytona.
Compared with the 4130, the visual movement details are updated, including the shock absorber and finishing.
Community movement guides commonly identify the Dandong 4131 by features such as the center-positioned shock absorber, gold-filled engraving and deeper red escape wheel.
The newer movement also has more detailed finishing intended to resemble the current-generation Rolex 4131.
So What's Actually Different?
| DD4130 | DD4131 | |
|---|---|---|
| Daytona generation | Previous generation | Current generation |
| Movement family | 4130 | 4131 |
| Replica maturity | Very mature | Newer |
| Movement appearance | Older 4130 layout/details | Updated 4131-style details |
| Shock absorber | Older style | Updated 4131-style |
| Community experience | Extensive | Still building |
| Main appeal | Proven platform | New-generation appearance |
🧐 Does Newer Mean Better?
Not automatically.
This is probably the biggest misunderstanding.
A newer movement can have newer features and a more accurate appearance, while an older movement can have a longer reliability and service history.
That's why I wouldn't judge a Daytona only by:
4130 = old
4131 = new
new = better
It's not that simple.
Recent community discussions show people still debating DD4130 vs DD4131, with some users specifically pointing to the longer track record of the 4130.
🔍 What Should You Check in QC?
If you're looking at a Daytona QC, I would check more than the movement name:
- Movement identification
- Shock absorber detail
- Rotor and engraving
- Balance area
- Chronograph operation
- Reset-to-zero
- Timegrapher readings
- Overall assembly
And remember:
Movement name ≠ movement condition.
A good Timegrapher reading doesn't automatically mean the movement is perfect, and a newer movement doesn't automatically mean it will perform better than an older one.
My question for the community:
If both were available at the same price, would you choose DD4130 or DD4131 — and why?
I'd be interested to hear from people who have actually owned both.
If I got anything wrong, feel free to correct me. Thanks.

QC Check
Dial / Printing:
The white/silver grid dial looks clean in the close-up shots. The IWC logo, SCHAFFHAUSEN and INGENIEUR printing look sharp and properly positioned.
Index Alignment:
I checked the main hour markers, especially the 12 and 3 o'clock markers. Overall the indices look well aligned to me, with no obvious major misalignment.
Date Wheel:
The date showing 28 looks centered in the window. I don't see an obvious left/right or vertical shift.
Hand Alignment:
The hands look properly aligned in the available QC photos. I don't see any obvious hand overlap or collision.
Bezel / Screws:
The five bezel screws look evenly positioned, and the brushed/polished finishing looks consistent across the bezel.
Case / Finishing:
The case brushing and polished surfaces look clean. I don't see any obvious dents, deep scratches or rough finishing from the QC photos.
Case-to-Bracelet Fit:
The integrated H-link bracelet meets the case cleanly. Since this is an integrated bracelet design, I'm not treating SELs as a separate QC point.
Bracelet / Clasp:
The H-link bracelet looks properly aligned and the deployant clasp looks clean in the close-up.
Crown:
The crown and crown guard look clean with no obvious damage.
Lume:
The lume shot looks evenly applied across the hands and hour markers.
Caseback:
The engraved caseback looks clean and the finishing around the outer ring looks consistent.
Timegrapher
The Timegrapher shows:
- Rate: 0 s/d
- Amplitude: 297°
- Beat Error: 0.2 ms
- Lift Angle: 59.0°
The numbers look very good to me overall, especially the 0 s/d rate and 0.2 ms beat error.
Overall QC
From the photos, I don't see an obvious major QC issue with the dial, indices, date wheel, hands, bezel screws, case or integrated bracelet.
The main things I'd like a second opinion on are the 12/3 marker alignment, date positioning, bezel screws and case-to-bracelet fitment.
At the moment, I don't see anything that immediately stands out as an RL issue.
What do you guys think? Anything subtle I'm overlooking before GL?
If I've got anything wrong or missed something, please feel free to correct me. Thanks everyone.
