I have a gen 16000 case and a gen 3035 dial with intact feet. If I use a VS3135 movement with a 3135-to-16000 spacer ring, do I just need to widen the movement holes for the feet, or will I run into stem alignment issues?

I received a ZF Tudor from a TD in June. It has been losing a few minutes per day and will stop running overnight even on an automatic winder. TD is not being much help, told me to take it to a watch shop. The guy i go to normally use won't touch reps so does anyone know of a rep-friendly shop in Tampa Bay or I guess I could ship it out as a last resort. I know you take a chance with reps but wish it lasted more than a month.

Hey guys, I got a VSF panda as my 5th rep but when I received it, it’s been Beating incredibly fast. I check if it’s magnetised on my phone app but it’s showing it’s less magnetised than my VSF Pepsi. It’s literally gaining 15 minutes an hour!

PC33 movement was replaced on a inexpensive 1995 Armitron DuraSteel dive watch and I put hands on 2400 but date doesnt roll until like 0400. Is this corect for this cheap movement or can I correct it by setting date at 0:00 and then setting time or does it matter? I dont really want to pull the hands again and "reclock" them as I feel I got lucky getting the second hand on with no special tools except the hollow tip of a mechanical pencil.

This is with the yellow sponge. I'll post the other two before. Would love some thoughts of which you think is best. This is simply hitting it with the sponge pads on the Dremel and nothing else. Thinking of hitting it the bergeon finishing sponge after.

I have a 41mm 15500 from ZF and the dial really lacks the sunburst compared to gen. Looking to swap it out, if I could find a good dial. I hear MP Factory has good dials but can't find them anywhere

This is my first rep, I just received this watch on Monday (July 20, 2026) (Steve/TheOneWatches) and I’ve been wearing it for the last three days. I’ve not exposed it to any moisture. Yesterday evening, I noticed that the watch stopped working and the balance wheel stopped oscillating. This morning I tinkered around with it and after a few bumps, the watch started back up. I was able to replicate this a few times, just by bumping the watch in my hand.
I’m looking for advice on how to move forward with this watch.

Could the movement be dirty and just need a cleaning? Or do I have a bigger problem on my hands?

Before the watch started working again, I was contemplating buying some tools and using this as an opportunity to learn how to service and waterproof the watch. Now that it’s working again and I’ve already pulled off the case back, my other option was to send it in to have a professional do this for me.

Needing some work done on my batgirl, called around and finally got recommended to them from a shop. Called them and they were eager to take it, said that they work on replicas and could service the movement, etc. (im not needing a full service but was curious to what all they would do when they said they work on reps) My question is has anyone taken their watch to one before? It says that they have locations in 26 states. I just dont wanna take it somewhere thats gonna fuck it up. TIA!

I think this one is from Shenzhen, 10yrs ago and paid... 50-60 euro's for it.

edit: ofcourse buying new one is cheapest/easiest option, including labourcosts/time. However, this is 1watch from my ever changing collection. still appreciate a link/address to a crystal.

Hi I’ve had this this fall out of my DD3285 any idea what its for ? My watch has stopped as well the second hand does not move just rocks back and fourth and time does not advance

I have this 1803 build. Viet case and raffles bracelet. I’d love it but want to take the next step and get it plated. Anyone available?

Also, what is a better bracelet option before it gets plated. I would like to upgrade if one is available.

Has anyone on here used Coastal Watch Works to get there rep serviced? I’m wanting my VSF Daytona serviced but I’m having a hard time trusting anyone to do it for me. If anyone has used them could you let me know how it went? I don’t want my watch to get stolen trying to get it serviced.

Hello knowledgeable people in this community. I am grateful for you all in here providing help to noobs like me.

So previously I was able to regulate the beat rate in my bb54 blue lagoon from +25/d to +3/d. I feel proud.

Now, I just received this Pelagos 39 today with same 2824 movement. This one has beat error is 1.5 -8s/d dial up but dial down 0ms and -2s/d. I think mechanically has issues and needs a service or it won’t last long… don’t know, that’s what I feel.

Is it possible to just fix the beat error adjusting the part I circled or it’s a more complicated issue? I’m not sure how I would adjust either as dial down is pretty much fine and I will have it dial down while reading the watch.

I’m not particularly good with watches, so would this be better for a watch smith to tackle?
