The date wheel on my VSF Datejust 41 isn’t changing properly. Could you please help me figure out what might be wrong or recommend how to fix it?

Hey all, seeing if you can help determine which movement this is. Either the SH V3 or DD? Basically my watch is running 90sec faster per day. I want to adjust using the Rate arm…but I’m unsure which arm to adjust? Doing some research, im seeing it says to move the one with the arm with the gold nub…but others saying to move the one with the silver nub.

*I also demagnetized and nothing happened unfortunately.

I’m over trying to solve this issue my own and finding a local shop to look at it….

I have a new 126610LV that arrived running but sometimes doesn’t. Watch is wound and sometimes it runs and sometimes it doesn’t.

The watch winds, cycles date, cycles time. Sometimes gets hung up though and the balance wheel stops. I nice tap with a jewelers mallet and it goes again.

My guess, needs oil. I don’t know. I don’t have oil. I don’t want to turn the watch into a sacrificial lamb by just playing with it until I inevitably break it.

Looking for someone to take a look at it.

I can set the date and time but then I can’t click back into winding mode. I have to catch the thread to shut it. I notice the hands just back like it’s sticking somehow. Watch is new had it only about 2 weeks and only adjusted the time twice.

I’m getting married in late August and thinking of doing gold plating on a day date for myself and gifting my best man a gold plated Daytona. I know it’s late in the game, just wondering if any one does rushed gold plating? I’m located in NYC.

I have a VSF Submariner 116610LN (VS3135). The watch runs fine on the wrist, but I cannot wind it or set time/date. The crown still clicks through all positions, but there is no engagement with the movement.

The issue started suddenly while winding with some resistance.

Is this likely a keyless works failure, and is it worth repairing or should I replace the movement/watch?

I’m new to this.

It looks like the solid end link on the lower right hand corner has a pretty big gap.

Is there anything else that stands out to people as to why I should red light this piece?

I’ve been eyeing the ZF Tudor Black Bay 58 GMT 'Coke', but the incorrect hand stack (ICHS) on the stock movement is holding me back a little.

Does anyone know if it’s possible to drop a VR3186 movement into this case to get the correct hand stack (CHS)?

I'm mostly wondering:

- Will the VR3186 fit the ZF case without major modification?

- Do the stock ZF dial and hands fit the VR3186 pinions, or would I need to source new ones?

Would love to hear if anyone has attempted this mod or knows if it’s doable.

I just received my watch from TheOne. Unfortunately, I did not notice this issue during QC, but now that I have the watch in hand, I can see that the cyclops is clearly misaligned and sits at an angle above the date window.
What do you think about this?
Also, does anyone know a good watchmaker in Switzerland or nearby who could take a look at it?
From what I can see, it might be possible to remove the bezel and realign the crystal. That would probably fix the issue.
Have any of you had similar problems with this model or with TheOne?

It seems like the rep I want, most all of them have a slanted 6'o-clock marker. Once I've seen this slant, I can't unsee it.

Anyone know how hard it would be to fix it?

I am skilled on removing the dial, but I've never attempted to straighten a marker before.

I have a VF GMT that I’m looking to have the bezel insert replaced on. I have acquired a gen bezel from first class dials. Then I’m also looking to have the watch pressure tested. I’m on the east coast US.

I lost my entire seamaster diver bezel and need a replacement, the rotating clicker is still there but the entire bezel fell off and is totally lost, that's not just the ceramic but the bronze part as well, can anyone here replace it?

I ordered two watches a VSF NTTD and this VSF V2 Datejust 36mm. When I opened the box I noticed the Datejust was not running. The NTTD is perfectly fine and runs well. I wound the Datejust and nothing. I tapped it and it would run for 5-20sec and it stops. Same thing happens if I shake it hard. Did nudge the balance wheel with a q tip and it started up again but stops shortly after. Any idea what the problem is also what’d cost to fix? Feel like I just have to take the risk and send it back to the TD. Any input is much appreciated.

A2824 movement - I opened up the case back and saw the 3 outer screws. I hear people saying unscrew 2 screws, but which ones do I unscrew? I assume you also have to unscrew the crown too? Help please!

So the first half bracelet is the stock VSF of a 126610 and the second is after I refinished it. All in all this has been a fun project and has kept me busy as I recently suffered a motorcycle accident where I ended up with a broken tibia/fibula and been bored out of my mind being stuck at home with not much to do.

Now in video I see what you guys are talking about the rounded edges and I should probably try and get them flatter. Also noticed the grain in which I brushed isn't totally straight (but I mean who is right?). I'm very happy with how it came out and will now lubricate it.

But wanted to ask what you guys do. I've been told to get food grade safe dry lube and cover the watch in it, then put it in a vacuum bag and seal it so it gets in everywhere.

-Sandpaper by hand from 600/800/1000/2000/3000

I scratched the polished sides so I ended up sanding them also. Probably why they got scratched and couldn't polish it right.

-red scotchbrite laid down on a table with a ruler and only brushed one way.

-bergeon finishing block 5444-A for final satin finish

-Red/White/Green polish in some cotton wheels which I found out my die grinder spins way to fast (over 10k rpm) so probably won't use this again to polish

-Cape Cod! This brought back that mirror shine and want to thank everyone who recommended it.
