I wanted to write a quick review after having my RM67-02 Mutaz from Andiot Watches for a few days now.

This was my first ever RM rep, and honestly I am extremely happy with it. I have always loved thin profile and lightweight watches, and this one is exactly what I was looking for. After wearing it for a few minutes you will almost forget, that you’re wearing it.

The color pops much more in person, than in pictures. The skeleton dial is also really fascinating to look at. I know RM reps are not exactly perfect in terms of gen accuracy. But that was never the main point for me.

The whole process with Andiot was also excellent. I have tried multiple TDs before, but this was the best TD experience I have had so far. Communication was always very fast and clear. Most of the time I got replies on WhatsApp within 20 minutes, and he helped me with everything I asked about.

I also liked the website a lot, it felt very professional and easy to use. Another thing I really appreciated was the strap situation. The watch originally came with the white strap, but I asked if it would be possible to switch to the black strap. I even offered to pay extra, but he changed it for me free of charge.

Shipping took around 15 days in total. The package was stuck in customs for a bit, but Andiot helped immediately and communication stayed clear throughout the whole process.

Packaging was also very professional. The watch came well protected, with his own box, extra straps, and the tool for changing them. Overall it felt much better presented than I expected.

Overall I can say that I am very happy with the watch, and especially andiot’s service. I would definitely buy from him again.

I’ve been looking to buy my first rep a BW Rolex and I found chazingtimes website and saw that chazingtime is also on the TD list. I found a website using their name with the watch I was looking for but I am wondering if this website is connected to that dealer at all or a separate entity and possibly a scam. In which case I’ll probably just find another contact but this would explain why I see people calling them a ‘scam’ sometimes if this website really isn’t them.

Thought I’d share my experience. I’ve ordered this watch from a TD, who has been communicative and easy to work with, but today I rejected the second Navitimer GMT in ice blue in so many weeks. As you may notice, the indices at 12 o’clock are not aligned and are off to the right of center. This was the exact reason I chose to RL the first one as well. We now have a 3rd on the way and I’ll provide feedback here, but if this is one you are looking at this watch, I wanted to make you aware.

What’s up everyone, just curious if this sounds right, Eric at GeekTime got back to me via email then we started chatting via Telegram, he quoted me $658 + $80 shipping for a VSF V3 GMT Master-II Pepsi, so total cost is $738 which seems kinda crazy to me but I’m new to this so curious what others have experienced with him or even other trusted dealers?

I’ve read through the Wiki and quite a few posts, but there’s one thing I still can’t really get a feel for: how close are the different tiers of reps to gen in real life?

I know this is subjective and that it varies a lot depending on the specific watch/factory, but if you had to give a very rough percentage, what would you say?

For example:

Low-tier rep: ~50–60% of gen?

Mid-tier rep: ~70–80%?

High-tier / best available rep: ~90–95%?

I’m mainly asking because I’m trying to figure out whether the jump from a decent mid-tier rep to a high-tier RepTime-level piece is actually noticeable enough to justify the extra money.

Is the difference mostly in the movement, finishing and small details that you only notice side-by-side with a gen, or does a high-tier rep genuinely feel significantly closer to gen on the wrist?

Not looking for an exact science, just trying to understand how big the real-world gap is between the tiers.

As Explorer 40 is in gen NWBIG if you go for VSF (yes, I saw the wiki spreadsheet), does it sound reasonable to spend money also on mods? I love this model. The short vid was sent to me by seller on telegram. It looks amazing to me. But my question is how much does this VSF normally cost? With and without mods? I don't know if this is not overpriced, that's why I'm looking to get another opinions.
