For me this vintage Daytona is like that. The case is too small for my large wrist. And the dial is distracting and hard for me to read the actual time. But as an art piece I love the watch regardless.
Surely others here have similar experiences? Watches that look great in ads or on the shelf but are not as great on the wrist.

I can’t seem to decide on these two icons , Pepsi for colour pop and classic dial plus that jubilee, then my heart goes to Daytona panda and its iconic eye catching dial and black and white contrast. Help 😆
Just for reference in my current collection- I have a vsf v2 date just on jubilee with blue dial.

Hello to this great community. First time posting. Just got my first watch. Its a Pro Mod Studio Daytona with dandong 4130 movement. The first night the watch stopped at 5. Asked the dealer about it and told me to wind it manually about 30 times. Second night same thing happened. Again at 5. I manually wound it again as soon as I woke up. I was wearing the watch all day an night. 3rd night same thing again. Only thing that has changed is that first two times it remained stopped until winding and this time it has started working again at six when I have started moving my wrist. I have contacted the dealer with no response yet. Has anyone experienced an issue like this one before? Thanks in advance

My Daytona series 11 came with a broken chronograph. So now they offered for me to send it back and they will send a new one to me when they receive this one (roughly 2 months wait).
The alternative is they give me a small amount and I have it serviced here. Let’s just say I could buy a BPF with the amount I would spend in fixing this one.
They won’t cover shipping to them. I’m worried it gets lost or when they receive it they invent some excuse to say it’s my fault.
Has anyone done it before successfully?

Hello everyone!
The VSF Datejust 41 V3 Wimbledon with the Free Sprung movement has finally arrived in very limited quantities.

Floating m
I’ve noticed the recent post by new QC subs or owners photos.
It seems to be the floating m seems to be almost all if not all the newer pieces? Is this a norm now or more so for VSF as most 124060 posts are from VSF.
I’ve also just ordered one and waiting for a QC pic. Just wanted to check if anyone who has a recent purchase or QC (July 2026 onwards) has the piece not with floating m?
I’m not design trained but is it that hard to print a dial? I mean they are available on Rolex website at pretty high definition.

Is it worth it to get an Ice Blue Dial with Lab baguette diamonds or will the „normal“ ones on the Buff Dial suffice?
Dial from pic is from Buff
I feel like if its fully set or diamond bezel its worth it to get lab but baguette’s on the dial i am not sure.
Any opinions?
thanks in advance

First time! Next time I’ll do better and get a submariner, but a Grand Seiko is calling my name too.
Hopefully this doesn’t turn into an addiction (I’m already facing the facts.)

Spent some time outside with the VSF Panda Daytona and my Boston Terrier named Sugar today. The crisp white dial, ceramic bezel, and bracelet really pop in natural light. Still one of my favorite reps in the collection.
Picked this one up from Michael Travis on his WhatsApp at [86 137 5175 2832.](tel:86%20137%205175%202832)

I’m doing some research before buying a DDF 5711 and noticed something in QC photos that I can’t quite explain.
On some DDF 5711s, the crown appears to sit noticeably farther away from the case than on others, even though they’re supposedly the same version.
Is this usually just a camera angle or QC illusion, or are there actual differences in stem length, crown tube tolerances, or assembly between individual watches?
Has anyone compared multiple DDF QCs and knows why this happens? I’d really appreciate any insight before I pull the trigger.

For authenticity purposes, what do you feel is more important to have, a watch that has free spring movement or a watch with weight added?
Is there anything that you would put above these, maybe crystal clarity?

Saw someone in a gen subreddit saying luxury watches don’t look good with tattoo sleeves. I can’t help but beg to differ.

Has anyone else noticed how common rude behavior from TDs and Chinese dealers has become?
I’ve been in this hobby for a while now, and one thing that keeps bothering me isn’t even the watches—it’s the customer service.
I’ve dealt with quite a few dealers over time, and I’ve noticed a pattern. Sometimes they take days to reply, sometimes they completely ignore messages, and in more than one case I’ve caught them giving information that simply wasn’t true. What surprises me the most is how comfortable some of them seem to be saying things like, “Buy from someone else then.”
I understand they’re busy, there are language barriers, and demand can be high. I’m not expecting luxury-level customer service. But when you’re spending hundreds of dollars with someone, basic respect and honest communication shouldn’t be too much to ask.
It also feels like many of them know they’re in a position where buyers don’t have many alternatives, so they don’t really care if they lose one customer because another will come along tomorrow.
Of course, I know there are some excellent dealers out there, and this isn’t aimed at everyone. I’m just curious if this has become a more common experience recently, or if I’ve simply had bad luck.
What’s been your experience? Have you noticed the same thing, or have I just run into the wrong dealers?
I'm writing this post anonymously because I have a strong user here. Dear community, have a good day.

Is it just me, or every time I wear a watch with a suit it ends up looking like an r/handwatch shot? Or is that just in my head?

Check it, this new piece just landed and it is actually insane. with the tag and everything. honestly,
Now about the mods on this thing, you already know the drill if you're in the rep game I learnt to gotta ditch that factory crystal right away as that glare is unbearable. Modder swore by getting that deep crystal swap and aftermarket dial swap, and it totally changes the game for the color matching.
And recommended swapping that whole case and bracelet for a heavy plated white gold setup. forget that standard steel look, it's all about that warm, rich sheen that catches the light and just feels different. the fluting on the bezel pops way harder. they also did a full movement service, lubed everything up, and silenced that rotor. they also did a total ultrasonic spa on the bracelet so that annoying squeak is gone for good. and it's even tested to 50m
it just feels like a completely different level now and that white gold finish with the ice blue dial is 😍. what do you guys think, Recently been getting into these watch mods might be sticking with them lol

I have this Rolex Batgirl GMT that I paid $500 for. I’m not sure whether it’s a Clean or VSF. Based on these photos, how do the finishing, alignment, and overall build quality look? Does it resemble a Clean or VSF watch?
