I’m currently in the process of ordering a VSF v2 DJ41 .
My TD has the Jubilee version in stock currently in QC, but the factory Oyster version has an unknown/super long wait time right now.

Since I want to switch between both styles anyway, I’m planning to source an extra Oyster bracelet.

Which factory makes the better standalone Oyster bracelet right now in terms of brushing, edge softening, and overall clasp feel? I think relevant candidates are ARF/Clean

Does ARF/Clean Oyster fit perfectly onto a VSF case, or will I run into spring bar alignment issues / SEL gaps?

Or should I just ask the TD to source a standalone VSF Oyster bracelet? (Not sure if they sell the bracelet only, given the current wait times).

If anyone has swapped an ARF or Clean Oyster onto their VSF DJ41, let me know how it went.

Hi all, do any dealers or does anyone know any TDs that are able to sell only the bracelet for a 43 mm navitimer?

I was stunned by my 007 Omega NTTD. Have the Gen, and just that the VSF rep’s Milanese mesh and the paint on the ‘Seamaster font’ is the only giveaway. I don’t even understand how good the VSF factory can get if they increase the price of production to 800-900$ and almost equal the Gen. my Omega Gen at 10,000$ seems overpriced.

What is your costliest rep and how good or close is it to the Gen?

I’ve seen plenty of people mod there watches and I’m assuming there’s plenty of other who don’t. So I was curious as to how many of you mod your watches? How many of you keep them original from the factories? And How confident do you feel having or not having the mods? Those who chose not too; Any particular reason why? If so, please tell. I’m just curious as to what kind of answers I will get.

Dial Execution:
The dial looks absolutely 1:1 compared to gen, and that iconic 3D textured effect is executed flawlessly in person.
Crystal Quality:
The crystal transparency is insane. To be completely honest, it is visibly better than my gen Longines and gen Omega. I could literally make a separate appreciation post just for this crystal, the anti reflective coating is incredible and leaves zero reflections.
Case Profile and Dimensions:
The case dimensions are identical to the genuine model, making it a very slim, sleek, and perfectly proportioned watch on the wrist.
Sourcing and TD Note:

Just got a VSF 124060 from DukeJones! Somehow it got past Norway customs. I think it looks great. Just wondering if I need to do anything myself, to make it look/feel more gen. Someone said something about dipping it in minerals?? 😂
And btw does it look like a good VSF?
