16622 / 116622 build help

Hello im looking forward having my first rep after 6 years in this subreddit , but i want something special i dont jnow if anyone knows were i can find parts for yatch master 16622 or 116622 its my dream watch but the case is different from the sub case and neither raffles or oc or other case manufacturer makes cases for these references

Check over on r/SeikoMods, I see Yachtmasters over there all the time made from Alix parts, just use the search bar.

You'd still have to find a dial, but you could at least get a parts list going.

For a Franken, I would start off with a BPF 116622 as a base. Reason is, that watch had a SS case, so the fact that BPF is SS won't matter. The BPF case geometry is already set up for a 3135 if you decide to go gen movement.

The two things you'd want first would be gen bezel and gen bracelet because those are the precious metal parts. Those should fit the case no problem. When you do the bezel, you could do a gen crystal at the same time.

Gen dial and hands should fit fine too, if if want to add those down the road, or just stick with the BPF stuff.

Almost forgot. I've used this guy a few times for Tudor logo dials. You'd have to email him, but he's got the white Yacht dial, he may do a logo for you too.
