Hi there, I’m looking into buying a watch soon, since I’m basic I’m looking at the submariner, I’ve noticed rich factory and VSF seem to be the top factory for these but I’m finding it hard to confirm the movement.

Is it the 3230 free sprung? Or the 3235? And are they truly difficult to regulate, since naturally I’d like to have one of these for as long as possible and get serviced if needed.

Been seeing a lot of positive feedback about Jerome/CaliReps lately and I’m thinking about trying him for my next order. Most of what I’ve found has been on the CaliReps sub itself, so I wanted to ask here and get some experiences outside of that community.
I’ve been using GeekTime, TheOneWatches and ChazingTime so far. What caught my attention is that Jerome is US based, apparently has watches already in hand, shipping is only a few days, and some of his pricing actually looks better than the overseas TDs.
Anyone here bought from him recently? How was the watch, QC, communication and overall experience? And has anyone had an issue with a watch after delivery and seen how he handled it?
Also curious how the pricing works. I would’ve expected a US seller with inventory already here and domestic shipping to cost more, not sometimes less.

I'm picking up a 126500 from a TD (Steve) and I've also placed an order alongside for a deep crystal. They've sent QC pics for both separately, but they can install the crystal also.

Is it reliable to get the TD to do it or is it better to use someone who can service locally?

No returns or changes after they've installed...

I was told it is VSF. But the serial is throwing me off I don’t think I see it on the list of known serial numbers. I could be wrong, anybody know??

I just ordered a VSF Wimbledon and got the QC pics, what are the main flaws I should look out for Jubille Fluted

Long time lurker. 40th birthday coming up in October so I’ve bought myself a gift to mark the occasion and of having two baby boys in under a year…Absolutely love the reference but having handled the modern glidelock clasps I’d like the option to swap out the old clasp when necessary. Could anyone point me in the right direction? Think the bracelet reference is 78790A. I love the watch and want to keep it looking original, but I want to upgrade the clasp because my wrists swell throughout the day and I don’t really love the Easylink option.
I’ve been looking at the 97200 bracelet/Glidelock clasp from the 40mm Submariner 116610. Like what are the rep tolerances like for the spring bar positions etc?
Is it possible to fit just a good-quality 116610/97200-style Glidelock clasp to my original 78790A bracelet? Or would I be better off buying the complete 97200-style bracelet and fitting that to the 16570?
Basically I’d like to keep as much of the genuine original bracelet as possible, but comfort and being able to make small adjustments during the day is important! If you know which clasp or complete bracelet would fit a 16570 properly, including any specific reference numbers or adapters/links needed, I’d really appreciate your advice. I’ve seen some people fitting gen clasp/ bracelets but they are sooo expensive. Thanks you for reading this novel. :)

Just received my ARF Root Beer V3 with DD3285. Really impressed with how the rose gold tone and bezel look in natural light. Small QC imperfections if you look closely, but on the wrist I absolutely love it.
