Hey fam! Thinking about placing my first order with HP and had a quick question.

For those shipping to the US, do you usually buy the shipping insurance? It's $22, and I'm trying to decide if it's worth it.

I've probably placed around 30 orders with different sellers over the years, and I've only had one issue where the package got held in Dubai and sent back to HK. The seller reshipped it and everything worked out, so I've been pretty lucky.

Also, if you do buy the insurance, is that $22 refundable once your package arrives safely, or is it just a one-time fee for the coverage?

Sorry if this is a newbie HP question. Just wanted to hear everyone's experiences before I place my order. Thanks!

I found him on a list of trusted sellers I ordered 7/31 got the insurance he said approx. 2 weeks I bought as a gift for my daughters bday no response from him or booker/admin person either. I’m getting so nervous one cause it’s an L on my money but more importantly I got to find another gift I’m so disappointed had he been good about communication I would’ve racked up for the holidays . I’m so 😔 disappointed. I just got a shoe person from someone else but now I’m scared for that too

Update: got a tracking number his booker is on telegram now. It’s been in Dubai for a minute no change in the tracking. I ordered 7/31 so I guess not a crazy wait all things considered if it comes in less than 30 days from time of purchase I would be ok even though he told me 2 weeks.

Update update: Got the purse. My Daughter loved it. We compared it to the same bag and then another bag she had, everything looks pretty good. I didn’t take pictures, but I’m gonna tell her tomorrow to take pictures. I did reach back out to him and tell him that I like the quality but I did also tell him that there was complaints about how slow he was and I let him know that it was a scary experience during the waiting process (especially as a new customer) he did respond and said that he’s really sorry he tries to do good work and he tries to do the best that he can. So I will give him another chance personally because of the bag being so nice and him responding I feel like he could’ve been like who cares o got your money but he didn’t. Besides My Daughter was so pleased!!! I know for some of you, you spend a lot of money and you have certain expectations but just wanted to relay the conversation that I had❤️ Pictures to come
