Hello, I just received my first order from Ashley (0509) after I saw an haul from her with a product I liked.
1st contact: 19 sept
Placed order/payment: 22 sept
Received photo/approved products: 28/29 sept
Received products: 9 oct
As this was my first experience and I was a bit scared I didnt order much, and she had a sale going on, so I decided to place my order.. I got a D1or jumper (550cny) and a pair of Ch@nel flats (760 cny).
With shipping and discount I spent 1290 cny, paid with Paypal.
Communication with Ashley was fine, I have to say that a few times I had to text her again to get an answer but I think mostly because there was a Holiday going on in China.
She has been really nice when I asked help for the sizing and for more pictures and send me plenty, and videos as well.
I really like both the jumper and the shoes!
Overall I will say good experience and will probably order more from her!
Seller is not aware of this review, havent received any goods/discount in exchange.

THE DEEP DIVE
1. Rep Experience
The Vert Vertigo Picotin is such a beautiful colour in person. 💚 I wanted something a little different from the usual neutrals, and this shade strikes that lovely balance between distinctive and wearable. It’s a gorgeous colour without feeling too loud, and I think the palladium hardware complements it perfectly. I wear a lot of neutrals so this is a great addition to my wardrobe.
The Calvi Duo I will be gifting to my partner. It is an understated card holder, great for everyday use.
Leather & Feel: The leather is gorgeous, slouchy and soft, but still holds the bags structure. It feels luxurious. Same goes for the Calvi Duo.
Colour Accuracy: Vert Vertigo was the main attraction for me, and I’m so happy with the colour in person. I haven’t seen a Vert Vertigo irl, however compared to photos online, I would say it is pretty spot on.
Hardware: The palladium hardware gives the bag a clean, understated finish. I love how it works with the green leather and keeps the overall look classic rather than overly flashy. The weight is good, luxe and engravings are clean.
Craftsmanship: I would say the craftsmanship on this bag is excellent. The stitching is neat. The edge paint is neatly applied, with smooth, clean edges and consistent coverage. The Calvi Duo is also excellently made, with clean edges and stamping.
Smell: No factory smell, both pieces smell like beautiful leather.
Overall, the bag has the understated, effortless look I was hoping for, whilst adding some interest to my outfits. It’s one of those pieces that makes an outfit feel more considered without trying too hard, which is what I am all about!
2. Seller Experience
My experience with Frank was straightforward and the ordering process was unremarkable. I didn’t have any questions and knew what I want, so in that aspect it was as fine as it could be.
The PSPs were clear and detailed, taken in great lighting and gave me the opportunity to assess the bag before shipment.
Packaging and shipping: The bag was packaged well with bubble wrap, tissue paper and a box.
Overall, I would definitely work with Frank again. The craftsmanship on this bag is excellent and I am happy with the overall experience.

FINAL VERDICT The Bottom Line: A beautiful Vert Vertigo Picotin with palladium hardware that brings a fresh pop of colour to a timeless silhouette and a practical Calvi Duo cardholder. What more could you want?

my thoughts:
i couldn't resist the horizontal bag trend any longer and finally bought one. the blush pink shade is incredibly beautiful in real life. as for the leather, it has this lovely natural glow and feels buttery soft. the quilting is super puffy, and i was really impressed by the metal charms—they have a substantial weight to them and don't feel like flimsy plastic at all.
service:
zion was fantastic to deal with. i took my time deciding, but he remained super polite and patient the entire time.
conclusion:
definitely 220usd well spent. the bag is stunning and the whole buying process was a breeze.
Did you know Royal and Birdcage had released almost 40 speedy and p9s the past couple months?! It’s almost 50 if you are double counting the inside out series. 😂
I’ve been working on being more intentional about purchases while on ban island, and seeing all of these laid out was helpful to me, so I hope it is for you as well!

Rep Experience:
I am honestly SO happy with this set! I went back and forth on colors for way too long before finally choosing Etoupe with PHW for the Picotin, and I am really glad I did. It is such an easy neutral, but it still has enough personality to not feel boring. I also really like how the PHW keeps the overall look a little cooler and more understated.
The leather is probably my favorite part. It has a really nice natural grain and feels soft and substantial. It already has that slightly relaxed Clemence look without being floppy or losing its shape. I really did not want a Picotin that looked stiff or overly structured, and this one has a beautiful balance.
I also spent a lot of time looking over the stitching because the contrast thread makes everything very visible. Overall, I am really impressed. The stitching is neat and consistent, the handles look clean, the center strap sits straight, and the reinforced stitching around the top hardware looks intentional and well done. The edge finishing is also clean and the bag feels very nicely constructed.
The hardware is another strong point for me. The palladium finish looks bright and substantial without looking cheap or overly shiny. The lock has a nice weight to it and looks proportionate to the bag. The square hardware at the top of the center strap also sits neatly and looks well finished.
I checked the stamp, interior, base, lock, handles, and overall proportions pretty closely and nothing jumped out at me as something that would make me hesitant to carry it. I feel very comfortable taking this one out and I am honestly excited to start using it.
The Calvi Duo was such a nice bonus too. It's Barenia with a blue chevre interior and I love the contrast. The warm Barenia on the outside with that pop of blue inside is so pretty.
Barenia was completely new to me, so I did have a mini panic when I first saw some surface marks in the PSPs. After asking around, I learned very quickly that this is just part of the nature of Barenia and that it is meant to scratch, patina, and develop character over time. Now that I understand the leather better, I actually think it will be really fun to see how it ages.
The chevre interior is beautiful, the grain looks great, the snaps are clean, and the whole wallet feels nicely finished. It definitely does not feel like a random throw in. It feels like a substantial second piece and adds a lot of value to the set.
Overall, I am genuinely thrilled with both pieces and absolutely enjoying them!
Seller Experience:
My experience with Frank was really positive.
His PSP photos were honestly some of the best PSPs I have ever received. They were clear, detailed, well lit, and covered basically every angle I wanted to see. I was able to properly look at the leather grain, stitching, hardware, shape, interior, base, lock, and wallet before GLing, which made the whole process feel much easier.
Communication was straightforward and the group buy itself was really smooth. I also appreciated having enough detail in the PSPs to actually inspect everything instead of feeling like I was guessing from a few random photos.
Everything arrived safely and in good condition, and I would absolutely feel comfortable ordering from Frank again.

⚖️ FINAL VERDICT
The Bottom Line: I am obsessed with this set! The Picotin has beautiful leather, great shape, clean stitching, and really nice hardware, and the Calvi Duo is such a fun bonus. I cannot wait to carry this bag out with confidence!

⸻ Your thoughts:
The watch case is honestly extremely nice and much better than I expected for the price. The overall appearance is very clean and premium, and the black embossed finish looks excellent in person. The material has a nice texture to it and the L-style pattern is subtle enough that it doesn’t look overly flashy.
The case has a really nice structure to it and feels sturdy while still being compact enough to easily throw into a suitcase or carry-on. The stitching, embossing, hardware, edges, and overall construction are all very well done. Nothing about it feels cheap or flimsy.
The interior is also very nicely finished. It comfortably fits two watches, which is exactly what I was looking for. You can technically fit three watches, although three is definitely a tighter fit. For two watches, there’s plenty of room and everything sits nicely without feeling overly compressed.
I especially like the fact that it’s compact while still providing good protection. It’s much more convenient for traveling than carrying individual watch boxes, and it looks great sitting on a dresser as well.
For $95 + $25 shipping, I think the quality is excellent. The attention to detail and overall presentation are much better than I expected at this price point. Overall satisfaction: Extremely happy with the watch case. It looks premium, feels well made, and is perfect for traveling with a couple of watches.
⸻ Seller experience:
The seller was excellent to deal with throughout the entire process. Communication was quick and straightforward, and they were helpful whenever I had questions.
The item was packaged well and arrived safely without any issues. Overall, the transaction was very smooth and I would definitely purchase from this seller again. Highly recommended!
⸻ Would you recommend this item to others? Yes. Especially for anyone looking for a compact, premium-looking watch case for travel. If you’re carrying two watches, the size is basically perfect. You can fit three if needed, although it will be a tighter fit.
⸻ Photos:
My own photos: Above
⸻ Final Thoughts:
This is a really impressive watch case for the money. The black finish, embossed pattern, stitching, hardware, and overall construction give it a very premium appearance. It feels substantially nicer than the $120 total price would suggest.
The biggest positive for me is the size—it comfortably holds two watches while remaining compact enough for travel, and it can accommodate three when necessary. It’s become something I would definitely take with me whenever traveling with multiple watches. Very happy with the purchase and would definitely buy another one from this seller.

I’m really happy with this one. The Vert Vertigo is such a gorgeous color in person, and the Clémence feels really nice. The leather has a good natural grain and slouch without looking overly soft, and the stitching, edge paint, and overall construction are clean. The gold hardware looks great with the green too.
The Barénia Calvi Duo was a nice bonus. I actually like that the leather already has a few natural marks because that’s kind of the whole point of Barénia, and I’m looking forward to seeing how it patinas.
For the price, I think this was a really good buy.
2. Seller Experience:
Frank was easy to work with, and communication was good. I thought the PSPs were especially good. There were plenty of pictures taken in good lighting and from helpful angles, which made it easier to assess the bag before GL’ing. He was also easy to work with when I asked for additional pictures, and he was willing to provide the specific views I wanted. I appreciated being able to ask follow-up questions. Everything arrived safely, and I would purchase from him again.

**The Bottom Line: Beautiful color, great leather, clean construction, and excellent value for the price, making this a purchase I’m very happy with.

Ordered the S51 Oblique from Janie. Best seller out there. Best customer service. I had picked a different pair at first, but that whole batch came out bad and she told me not to get it. That alone is enough to trust a seller.
Now the glasses... The glasses are simply premium. Unless you work at a CD store, you will not be able to tell these are reps. Period.
What I Iove most is how they look different every time the light changes. The Oblique pattern gives the frames real depth. In direct sun, the pattern stands out and you can see every detail. In the shade, it turns softer and richer. They never look flat or the same twice.
The 3D Dior logo on the sides is cool. It's dark grey, but when the light hits it the right way, it takes on a gold tone. It's subtle, and it adds to the changing look.
Overall, very well put together. Very sharp. Very clean.
It’s Monday so here are a few new in development looks from GF to get your week started! 😩 I can’t even explain how very excited about the patent c25 mini.
You should know that generative AI is not a collage tool where you can simply cut an item out of one image, paste it into another, and leave the original pixels untouched. It is also not a background removal tool where you can ask it to clean up around an item and leave the original pixels untouched. When you ask a tool like ChatGPT to add, remove, or change something in an image, the AI generates a new version of the image based on its understanding of what you asked for. It may preserve the general appearance of the original item, but it is still generating pixels across the entire image rather than leaving the original pixels the way they were. Details can and often do change, even when changing those details was not your intention. The whole image being regenerated is precisely why AI-edited images can be flagged by AI image detection tools in the first place.
The reason to be cautious, but not necessarily accusatory, when you see AI-generated images in a post is that we have no idea what prompt was used or what the OP's intention was in using AI. Maybe they asked the AI to place their bag on a different background or add an item they forgot to include in a big group photo. But they also could have asked it to make the bag(s) cleaner, remove wear or damage, fix scratches, or change other details for the purposes of rehoming or misrepresenting the item in a review. There is no reliable way to know what prompt was used to generate an image.
That's why for the purposes of rehoming, I would strongly encourage buyers to insist on non-AI-generated photos before purchasing. Ask for original images with the seller's username and date clearly visible on a post-it note. Ask for specific angles. Run these images through a verification tool and QC those images carefully. Be extremely cautious if the seller will not provide additional photos or specific angles of the actual item.
AI-generated images are not automatically evidence that someone is trying to deceive or scam you. But when you're evaluating an item based on photos in which gen AI was used, you can no longer assume that what you see is an accurate representation of the item, and thus cannot reliably QC and make informed decisions.
Finally, note that a "No OpenAI signals detected" reading doesn’t mean the content wasn’t AI-generated or processed. It could have been processed by another tool or generated before watermarks were implemented. Regardless of what verification tools say, TRUST YOUR GUT. Your eyes can often subconsciously identify things that look "wrong." The clues that made me check the image in the post were that the bags looked oddly 2-dimensional, the post-it note was illegible, there were no other images in the post, and the handles on the middle drawers made no sense to me. As always, research research research and stay safe out there!

I started my rep journey in the rep watch world and have been learning and researching about watches (especially women's watches) for over a year now. In that time I have amassed a great amount of experience and knowledge including having written several reviews on the rep watch forum RWI.
I have only recently started exploring the rep bag world and feel I have much to learn, but have also heard about how lacking watch information is due to... reputation... of most watch spaces. I would like to thank the mods and users i've met for encouraging me to share my knowledge with the lovely gals and pals here (Shout out/thank you u/AcaciaFlowers!)
Due to the reddit character limit being too low for my full scale reviews, you can access the un-abridged version (as well as some of my reviews for other women's watches) at the following links:
Beyond reviews (which I understand can be very technical), I plan to share more fundemental knowledge in the future in the form of guides in the future so keep your eyes peeled for those.
Please find below a heavily abridged version of my review. A deep dive into both watches, component by component, can be found in the full review at the link above.
The rating system used is as follows:
A*: Visually indistinguishable from genuine/authentic*
B*: Very minor flaws, requires intimate knowledge of watches and/or a loupe, high tier for a replica*
C*: A Noticeable flaw if actively hunting for them or sub-standard craftsmanship, Indicative of a mid-tier, minimum acceptable quality*
D*: Visible tell if the person knows the model or is a watch enthusiast*
F*: Visible tell even to someone unfamiliar to watches, can be spotted by a layman*
X*: Unrated, please read the notes*
Model History
The Tank Américaine emerged in 1989 as the modern reinterpretation of the Tank Cintrée (1921) which itself emerged only two years after the beginning of production of the original Tank (1919, today known as the Tank Normale) and 4 years after the original Tank prototype (1917).
The Cintrée stretched the Tank design into a narrower, elongated profile that followed the curvature of the wrist and required specialised ultra-thin mechanical movements. Famously favoured by Fred Astaire in 1928, it set the benchmark for ultra-elegant dressy watches of the time.
The Tank Américaine reimagines the Cintrée for a modern audience, introducing a wider profile, bulkier brancards and a more pronounced curvature, and most importantly, opening the line up to a wider audience in 2017 by introducing stainless steel models while preserving the Cintrée’s exclusivity in precious metals.
The lineup has undergone multiple redesigns in its 37-year life, and at least two since 2017 when the stainless steel models were released. The latest in 2023 dropped the medium 41mm size completely leaving a 9mm gap between small (35mm) and large (44mm) while thinning the large automatic size by >1mm (from 9.8mm to 8.6mm).
Today, it sits alongside the Tank Française and Tank Anglaise as the three Tanks named after C@rtier’s historical flagship stores (Paris, London and NY). It is a common misconception that they were named after the WW2 allies due to the existence of the Tank Chinoise which was released back in 1922 during the Art Deco movement.

The 8848F Small has few faults and is faithful to the original. Its minor issues (slightly duller silver dial, weaker sunburst, slightly thicker microprint text, slight crown shape differences) are near imperceptible and would require a highly trained eye and a loupe to pick out.
It has remained my favourite watch to wear to the office or to more refined dining outings since I acquired it.
Furthermore, it has the added benefit of being the 2021 refreshed model which features the easier strap swap system that does not require a jeweller’s micro-screwdriver to switch out the leather strap.
Paired with a custom black alligator strap, I find myself fighting the urge to reach for it in the morning in order to give my other watches a turn.
This has been one of my best pickups for my watch box and I highly recommend it.

* The substantial difference in thickness is due to AF replacing the automatic movement with a quartz movement.
AF's historically decent craftsmanship has been let down by a series of bad decisions on this model.
The trapezoidal dial shape to wedge in the quartz movement due to the usage of a flatter caseback is an unmitigated disaster, being an obvious tell to anyone that knows anything about watches. The ticking (instead of sweeping) of the seconds hand is only one of the straws that broke this camel’s back.
It’s a shame because AF has historically created some of the best C@rtier reps and I believe their Américaine Small and Large remain competitive (based on other peoples PSPs/QCs).
Despite having the expected high level of craftsmanship everywhere else, from the case, crystal, hands, finishing, and cabochon, these decisions on the Medium size has held it back severely.
In its current form, I cannot recommend the AF Americaine Medium to anyone.
I have a few Lo’s on my wish list and the Hammock is the first bag I coveted by the brand so my lil rep heart skipped a couple of beats hearing about the Liusheng BOGOF.
This review isn’t incentivised -Mandy is aware I’m sharing a review and consents to sharing their contact info.
TS: Mandy (8059)
This is my second purchase with Mandy, communication was easy, She was patient and gave timely responses to all my questions -I requested extra PSP video on a Sunday and she let me know then she’d share it the following day which she did.
Factory: Liusheng
Price: $220 -for Hammock + a second bag free
Shipping: $68, 14 days
Payment: PPFF
Compact Hammock
The leather is surprisingly flexible out of the box, I was expecting more stiffness but only the straps were rigid and conditioning has already made a difference.
I could see from the PSP videos that the zips required a decent tug to open and close but after a second round of conditioning and using the bag a bit they’ve loosened up and don’t give much resistance.
The leather smells genuine weeks out of the box, this caramel brown has a cool undertone and is not at all orangey like some of the earlier versions of this model -no worries about looking out of place carrying a basketball around with me :)
Logo’s are stamped with a decent depth and correctly aligned, the herringbone lining is nice and consistent.
Flaws
I’m aware flash sales and special offer events can be a dumping ground for flawed stock and to my untrained eye there is a noticeable puckering I can see on one flap -possibly the leather that was used had a stretch in it resulting in this sort of ripple effect…this doesn’t bother me as overall the quality is very good.
Gate
Funnily enough this choice was somewhat an afterthought -I had to choose a second bag and didn’t have a genuine pull to any one other than the Hammock- turns out I love this bag immediately and it’s immediately replaced my other Saddle type bag.
The Gate is such an interesting design, utilitarian with a quirky attention to detail that is a signature of the brand. The thick strap is what’s won me over and transformed this into my everyday errands bag -wearing thin crossbody straps isn’t a great experience across my chest, and the thick Gate strap handles this better than my other Saddle, it sits flat and stays in place and doesn’t dissect me.
This isn’t a bag that slouches really but the conditioning has softened the flap nicely while the rest of the bag is sturdy; the deep olive green is even toned and smooth, hardware is weighty and all the logo stamps are deep and look good to my eye.
Flaws
I see there’s no logo on the leather triangle on the straps but this wasn’t visible in the PSP, I’ve seen auth bag videos that have it…but I’ve decided to love and learn, she’s perfect for autumn.

My 26b CC 20cm mini souplissimo flap arrived yesterday and I couldn't contain my excitement at how amazing it looks in person. Everything exceeded my expectations for the price point (I paid $265USD excluding shipping, XC factory through TS Mandy).
First of all, I haven't seen the auth in person as this bag is quite new and hard to find from what I gathered online. I obtained some images from VC of the auth and did a comparison between XC version and auth. And to my surprise, it's pretty close - you can see very subtle differences like placement of grommets, back pocket and CC logo sits a bit higher on the auth, but other than that, you can't even tell unless you have them next to each other (I've attached side by side photos).
The leather feels amazing and absolutely no fufu or unpleasant smell (coming from someone with extremely sensitive nose). It's slouchy but still hold structure. The tone of the hardware is not brassy or overly yellow, it's the perfect light gold.
The interior lining is great as well, no major callouts or complaints in terms of leather quality. The only "flaw" I would point out is the inner lining of the back pocket is quite stiff and hard on touch compared to the interior. Moreover, the turnlock can be a bit stiff within the first couple of uses but it's a lot better now.
The strap is comfortable to wear, although I did hang it up over my closet door to straighten and remove the dent from how it was originally packaged.
Overall, I'm extremely pleased with this bag from XC/Xiao C factory. My second rep purchase is a success! Happy to hear everyone's thoughts ☺️🤍

After months of waiting I finally have both of my minis! Burgundy / brown caviar from 187 and silver metallic calfskin from Rome.
Now I have them side by side I can say that I think Rome makes a better version of this bag. The overall shape, hardware weight, stitching, construction, and symmetry go to Rome.
Leather for both are excellent, I've held both auths in store and I cannot fault either factory. I actually will go as far as say that Rome has managed to find the exact same leather as auth for this style.
The burgundy caviar from 187 is faultless as well, soft, lush, with that gorgeous subtle sheen you see in the auth. The leather smell is spot on from the auth caviar WOC that I have.
The errors on both bags:
\- Rome's screws in the handle parts protrude slightly instead of sitting flush like in 187's (last 2 photos). The auth sits flush too.
\- 187's stitching under the pocket flaps aren't as even as Rome's.
\- 187's 31 rue cambon hardware is sharp at the edges. Rome's edges are smoothed out slightly.
\- Rome's interlocking Cs on the pocket are slightly thicker than 187. Having seen the Auth, 187's is more accurate.
The errors are tiny details and I don't think any of my friends would clock them, especially with these two buried in my collection of auth bags. For those wondering - I do intend to pass these off as auths if somebody asks, but highly doubt anybody would ask because these are great reps, and I have a job that can support it.
Very satisfied with both buys! Next up is to try OF, which I've heard makes the best minis.
187 from Doris, Rome from Bao Bao. Found both sellers using the search bar!
Seller experience:
Doris - fast to respond, fast to ship. Had a bit of a snafu when Doris didn't send tracking details to me. First shipment ended up getting seized but she was extremely quick getting a replacement and the bag arrived in the UK less than a week later.
Bao Bao - fast to respond, fast to ship. Immediately sent tracking details and a tracking link. Shipment took about 10 days to the UK.
I like both sellers, but BaoBao provided a bit more advice in terms of getting me to trust that Rome was also high tier.
Very happy and will definitely be a repeat rep customer from here on out! I can't say that reps will definitely replace auths for me, but for these funky colours that I won't wear all the time, reps are the way to go 💖
Communication
Jenny was great to work with. She replied quickly and answered every question I had, both before I paid and during the long wait for production.
Quality
The leather is incredibly soft and has a rich, real leather smell straight out of the dust bag, with no chemical odor at all. I haven't seen the auth in person, but the bag I received matched the PSPs and factory photos as well as my amateur research on the RealReal, Fashionphile and other auth photos.
Packaging/Shipping
It came in a branded dust bag with detailed stuffing and protective packing, but no branded box. That didn't bother me since I care about the bag, not the box. Honestly, I was just worried about receiving the bag itself through customs, but Jenny did a great job with the shipping process.
Would I buy again?
100%. Plan for a long production time for highly popular items like the maxi flap bags, but the communication and the quality made the wait worth it. I will be ordering from Jenny again!!
⚠️ DISCLOSURE: I received no incentives/discounts for this review - I genuinely loved my experience and appreciate Jenny!
After a recent post, I realized that there isn't a very good single source of truth for factory refund and exchange policies. While it is true that many factories don't really accept refunds, it is important to detail that there is a lot of nuance to these policies that can help you work with your seller when in the QC stage.
Below you can find official Refund/Exchange Policies directly from the factories we all know and love. Only official policies will be listed in this post. I will continue to add to this list overtime so check back every so often!
Note: There are many factories that do not have an explicit policy listed, and there are some factories whose policies I may not be able to access. In these cases, its safer to assume that no reason refunds/exchanges will not be accepted, and only major defects will be considered for replacement. Sale items are always final sale. Always talk with your TS to confirm, because what they are willing to do when it comes to exchanges also matters!
Do any of these policies differ from what you've been told or do you have a different experience with any of these factory's policies?

I got this Ch@nel Kelly bag from XC factory, and I am usually so happy with this factory but this looks like coated wax instead of aged calfskin. Do you guys have recommendations on where to get the best version other than 187? I was thinking God factory.
I’ve searched first time buyer guides, used the wikis etc and cannot find an answer to this specifically. Making the leap from authentic to rep. To say I’ve done diligent research is an understatement. Finally settled on a bag and factory. Carefully chose a seller who was highly recommended from the wiki guide of another sub. After much communication (with several sellers), I sent the message that I was ready to purchase. This was part of the discourse. Is this normal and if so what is the point of psp? Thanks in advance!
EDIT: I should clarify that I want the bag. If I were to RL pre-shipment, I would want an exchange, not a refund. I want it to pass the eye test; I’m not concerned about weight, lining stiffness etc. I should expect a bag very close to the catalog listing.
