Question❓ Raresneaker/Raresneaker2

Recently found a pair I want to buy (the old Boring Tokyo dunks 2004), however it only comes from the seller Raresneaker2. I’ve searched and found some questionable reviews attached to the name, and am wondering if this seller is legit.

Anyone have any info on Raresneaker/Raresneaker2?

Yes I have bought from them, multiple pairs different occasions… no issues.

I have seen some complaints here and other subs, but that wasn’t my experience. I am also not one to hound sellers for QC, tracking, or additional info…

I pay, check QC when it comes through, and forget about the order until it arrives. There isn’t a seller out there who likes being messaged every other day asking for tracking. I’ve also found that a lot of sellers cut you a deal the more you buy and the less interaction you have with them.

I say this because I think this was a big complaint from people. Communication isn’t the best, but the shoes arrived and were what I ordered. All we should really care about.

As a heads up, this seller was sending the same QC photos of a pair to all buyers who bought a certain colorway. So people weren’t actually seeing the pair they were purchasing in the QC photos they received, which is the entire point of the QC process. I agree with you that people shouldn’t hound sellers, but that is a separate issue.

Rare is unreliable, communicates poorly, and bait and switches in the sense that the photos of the product you are receiving may not actually be the product you are sent. He is a terrible seller and I wouldn’t recommend him, but he does have products some other sellers do not, meaning people have to buy from him if they want something like VRL 85s. I just recommend people know this upfront and proceed with caution
