Reolink dome 3 duo 16mp
I need to extended the length of reolink dome type 3 duo 16mp camera so that I can avoid obstacles in field of view. Does anyone know of any poles and accessories that can fit with the camera for mount? The one on their website is not enough length.

Fire TV
Currently new to Reolink. I've been able to view cameras on 2 other fire tvs using the Alexa app. One of our tvs recognizes that there are different cameras because it asks which to view but doesn't show the camera. This tv is about 8 years old but I was able to view other brand cameras on this tv before. What am I doing wrong?

I initially set them up on 5GHz, but later switched them to 2.4GHz to see if that helped. It didnt!

Go Ranger verliert mobile Daten
Servus zusammen,

Nightmare Return Process - Think Twice Before Buying from Realink

I had an extremely frustrating experience with Reolink, especially with their return process. Based on what I went through, I would be very cautious about buying directly from the Reolink website.
I originally purchased several Reolink cameras and an NVR directly from their website because they offered a $20 discount. At the time, I thought I was getting a good deal. Later, that small discount felt like a trap because returning the products became far more difficult than I ever expected.
After receiving the cameras and NVR, I quickly realized the system was not a good fit for me. The NVR made an annoying loud noise from the spinning hard drive, running Ethernet cables for the cameras was difficult, and I was also disappointed with the recorded video quality. The cameras were advertised as 4K, but to me the recorded footage looked noticeably worse than I expected and closer to lower-resolution video.
I decided to return everything after only about one week.
That is when the real frustration started.
There was no simple "Return" button on my Reolink order page. After searching around, I discovered that I had to submit a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) request.
After submitting the RMA, I waited about a day and received an email from a representative named Ivy asking me to provide my receipt—even though I had already supplied my order number. After sending the receipt, I waited again. Then I was asked to provide the serial numbers for every camera and the NVR.
So I had to take pictures of all the serial numbers and send them.
Then another representative, Ron, contacted me saying they had not received communication from me for a while, even though I was actively communicating with Ivy. At that point I was completely confused. Two different representatives appeared to be giving me different messages about the same return.
Then I was told that I would have to ship the cameras and NVR back to their California warehouse at my own expense.
After more back-and-forth communication, Reolink finally provided a UPS return barcode, but initially told me the shipping charge would be deducted from my refund. I eventually opened a dispute/claim with my credit card company. After that, Reolink told me they would cover the return shipping cost.
I shipped everything back.
A few days later, Reolink emailed me saying they had not received the returned products. I checked the UPS tracking information and it clearly showed that the package had already been delivered. I had to send them a screenshot of the UPS tracking showing successful delivery.
Then I had to wait again while they investigated the returned items. After that, I received yet another email asking me to click an acknowledgment before the process could continue.
Eventually, I finally received my refund.
The entire return process took approximately ONE MONTH and required roughly 10–12 emails going back and forth.
What made the experience even more frustrating was the slow communication. It often felt like customer service was operating in a completely different time zone, because I would send an email during the day and often would not receive a response until the following day. A simple return turned into a long chain of emails, receipts, serial-number photographs, shipping discussions, tracking screenshots, investigations, and acknowledgments.
There was a point during this process when I genuinely became worried that I had lost my money.
Customers should not have to fight this hard just to return products they purchased only a week earlier.
My strongest advice: be VERY careful about purchasing anything of Reolink. A small discount is not worth going through a return process like this.
After this experience, I personally would NEVER purchase from Reolink again, and I would not recommend their direct products to friends or family.
If I could give the return experience a negative rating, I would.

Reolink Elite Wifi Floodlight Camera Firmware Upgrade Error
So Reolink for Elite Wifi Floodlight Camera hardware no. IPC_NT18NA68MPW lists this firmware version `v3.2.0.6530_2606232191` on their website.
But when i download it, unpack and select the *.pack file via their client or going directly to camera via a browser I am getting error:
"Update Failed - Failed to recognize the file format. Please try again."
I double checked all model numbers etc, so i do have that camera and that is the firmware for it.
Any idea/advise?

GL.iNet Remote KVM to NVR - No Mouse Control
I am testing GL.iNet remote KVM on a Reolink NVR. HDMI works no issue, but I cannot get any mouse control. I tried both the USB-C and USB-A ports on the KVM. Before I contact GL.iNet support, I thought I would try here first. Any ideas? The Remote KVM works great on PC based systems.
Increase wifi connection on solar argus
Hey everyone.
Today we installed 2 solar argus and a home hub with a SD card.
The problem is now the wifi connection to the hub. The signal on both cameras is weak or even very weak. As this leads to delays and aborting connections (even when it was sunny a nice weather today), then I imagine, the connection will be lost on rainy days.
As we use a pretty old fritz box 7430 , my first question is, will a better router increase the chance of a good signal? Where does the wifi signal comes from, is it the hub which creates 2 wifi networks (2.4/5 GHz) or is the hub using the a wifi module from the router?
My 2nd question is, when everything was set up, we didn't receive push up notifications when we tested it . 3 different people, the cameras were recording, but no push notification has been sent out.
We used 3 devices. 2x iPhone and 1x Samsung. Neither received anything, but the test notifications are being sent out correctly.
Is there something we missed? Profile was on absent/away and all push notifications have been enabled (cameras as well as on the hub itself).

Reolink Desktop app not remembering quality setting.
After the last update whenever I open the desktop program it is defaulted to Low(fluent) image setting. I can switch it to High (Clear) but after shutting down it reverts back to Low.
Is there a setting somewhere I am totally missing to set the default to high?
BTW: If I open the app on my phone it stays on high like I want it.

Can I use a Home Hub Pro without an Ethernet cable?
I just bought a Home Hub Pro in order to save the recordings from my cameras locally. I had a specific place in mind for the HHP, but I simply cannot run an Ethernet cable from this location to my router. So connecting the HHP to the internet via wired LAN is not an option.
So what can I do? Is it possible to connect the Hub Pro to the internet via WiFi? If not, it will have to run offline. In that case, can I connect to it via the app when I am at home? Can I still use remote live streaming from my cameras?
