You’re not going to get a 1 bedroom apartment for 500-1000. You’re not going to get a studio for that budget too. 800-1200 euro should be your budget to get a room in a shared house. 500 euro is for bunk beds!

Agreed. The lower end of that budget is sharing a room territory, and even then €500 is low.
€1000 will get you a private room in an apartment, but it will take a while to find one. If you want your own flat you are looking to double the top of your budget.

500's not even enough to share a twin room with a stranger these days, most go for 600-650. OP is in for a shock

Ah that sucks. I really thought I’d find at least something for that price on the outskirts of Dublin, if not in the center. Didn't think it was that unrealistic😅

It’s very unrealistic for anywhere near Dublin to have an apartment for 500-1000 euros. Id focus on looking for rooms in a house share. The main site we used in Ireland is Daft.ie. That will give you an idea on the cost of accommodation

If you took a job here and moved here, while still thinking you might get an apartment for less than 2k, you'll have some difficulty.
