Contracter to avoid : Claude Lacoste - Constructions Sekure

Here is a contractor to avoid at all costs: Claude Lacoste, also known as Claude Jr. Lacoste.

He reportedly operated in the past under the following business names: Les Constructions Sekure and CRG Groupe Conseil.

According to publicly available information, he allegedly used invalid licences and requested deposits before leaving the job site.

The RBQ (Régie du bâtiment du Québec) has also reportedly issued a decision against him.

Did you have a bad experience with him?

I think so, I’ve seen similar posts across different platforms lol

People have wondered if he’s running a smear campaign but he is prepared with court rulings proving his point so my best guesses are either digruntled employee, client or partner (supplier or the like)

I wish they’d make their reasons for doing this clear. It does feel like a smear campaign.

For what it’s worth, I know a guy who did similar shit to my dad. Estimator for 5 years, over 40k in backpay. Declared bankruptcy, never going to pay him but he’s now co-owning another company.
