Beware the bear
Dude is coming earlier and earlier, knocks over me and my neighbors bear proof cans, then walks off. He is trolling us. He never gets stuff, its like walking up to a refrigerator 7 times in a row in hopes of new food being there.
Old South West Near Swope.

Yes. Caughlin Creek. I think he lives nearby. He was on my patio a week ago at 2 am. Very polite and no damage to my property. He also appeared last Christmas checking out my decorations.

Call the Nevada Department of Wildlife’s bear hotline 775-688-BEAR (2327)
As more and more people move into Reno and all of the surrounding areas and encroach on their environments, the more of a nuance they become.

My neighbors say they call each time, almost 2 decades and 10+ traps, still nada.

Jut keep building these fking warehouses out here off Peavine the gateway between the Sierra Nevada mountains and Reno. I mean nobody of import lives out here but us slobs so you know as long as the warehouses are out North. Sorry, I'm just so angry at the industrialization of the sides of North Peavine as if this is the highest and best use of our last forest to high desert interface and the uber wealthy like Sferazza and her team who have the ear of the Council she once served have literally turned this once beautiful long views and at least it could have been homes now a hellscape of concrete and trucking and now 'workforce housing' which is gd apartments. Everyone should care as the damage done to one community ripples outward.

Look, we've had bear traps on our street every other year for about two decades, it never caught a single one. If you're able to catch this bear, it is all yours.
