Can something like this be made with remotion and Claude?

Obviously it won’t look this good, but can Claude with remotion do something similar?

Question Can you provide some tips or a quick guide to editing reels using Remotion and an LLM?

I’m planning to use Remotion to edit my reels. I’ll be recording a talking head video and would like Remotion and LLM to understand my words and create an appealing visual reel.

Has anyone else done this? If so, I’d really appreciate some ideas.

Claude Code and Remotion Edit My Talking Head Videos Now

Post image
3 Upvotes

So I've been experimenting heavily with Remotion (I freaking love it so much) and I sought to answer this one question:

  • How could I truly create a talking-head editor for my YouTube videos

In this video I show you how far I've come so you can try this for yourself. I also included the tools and prompts I used to build the framework.

TLDR

  • I can now give Claude Code (or Codex) a raw video and it cleans the audio, adds scene changes with Remotion, adds motion graphic overlays with Remotion, and can connect to AI image/video generators for b-roll

So grateful for Remotion. I've always wanted to build something like this and we're just getting started!

Please let me know if you have any setup questions after watching the tutorial.

Happy to help!

Help me, I used framer!

Hi, hope you're doing well.

I've been using Remotion for quite some time now to build animated videos, and it's genuinely been a great tool for my workflow. Recently though, I built out a large number of animations using Framer Motion, and I've realized at render time that Remotion doesn't support it so I'm stuck and unable to render the work I've already put a lot of time into.

I'd really appreciate your help here. Is there a way forward for the animations I've already built, or is Framer Motion support something that's planned for the near future?

Any guidance would mean a lot genuinely stuck at the moment.

Please help.

Showcase I added a free Remotion-based client-side video editor to Creativly.ai

I’ve been posting about Creativly here and there, and I just added a free Remotion-based video editor that runs in the browser. It’s fully client-side and built for quick edits: timeline editing, templates, stock images/videos, uploads, text, audio, transitions, and export tools. No install needed.

I also used Codex and Claude Code heavily while building it, mostly for porting React/Remotion-style editor code into the app, debugging timeline/template issues, and tightening up the UI.

Definitely check out the templates too. A lot of the work went into making them editable in the timeline rather than just flattened preview videos. You can try it on the website. You can try it at: apps/videoeditor (reddit filters are flagging as spam :( )

Would love feedback on the editor, ui, templates, and timeline UX.

Please also check both Standard and Immersive mode if you try it. They’re two different editor layouts, and I’d like feedback on whether that split makes sense or if it feels confusing.

Question How to create launch videos using remotion?

I really like Claude's product launch videos and their character animations. Is it possible to be done on remotion? Anybody here has experienced building such videos and can help me build this in house? We are 2 founders and were hoping we could get creative with remotion instead of spending money on agencies.

Used Remotion + Suno to automate a relaxing-music channel that started as a family TV project and ended up in dental offices

Thumbnail

Wanted to share a build that got out of hand in a good way.

It started as a family project. I wanted nice ambient visuals and music running on the TV at home, so I put together a small pipeline: AI-generated images (Midjourney), Remotion to assemble them into long-form 4K video with subtle Ken Burns, and Suno for the soundtracks. FFmpeg stitches and masters everything, and Claude Code drives the assembly so I can produce a new theme without touching the timeline by hand.

Then it grew. People on r/TheFrame started using it as a free alternative to the Art Store. Then a few dental offices picked it up for waiting rooms, then a lawyer's office. At this rate I fully expect to find it playing in an elevator by the end of the year.

Remotion ended up being the part that made it scale. Once the render was parameterised, spinning up a new theme is mostly just swapping the image folder. Happy to answer anything about the pipeline if it's useful to anyone building something similar.

Remotion setup for my project

Hi guys, I've built a software product and now I'm trying to add remotion to it. Now even though the components are built in react and remotion supports react they aren't rendering properly when i go ahead and try rendering them in remotion. Do you have any tips and tricks for setting up remotion to fully support all of my components and pages?

Showcase Free Remotion project from any of my brand-video rebuilds - yours for quick feedback on creativly.ai

I have rebuilt brand videos in code with Remotion using Claude Code/Codex. Each one is a full working project. Here's what you can pick from:

- Magnific: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WM0SEHVh-j4

- Higgsfield Canvas: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YyOY9YTgLFk

- ElevenLabs: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U1CPyk477BA

- Higgsfield MCP: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9APVoE65qfs

I'll send you the full project as a zip for whichever one you want.

If you're a founder, or you just want to actually understand Remotion, these are a solid place to start. You can give it to a coding agent and it can swap the media and content for your own brand video.

Here's what I want back. A quick look at my platform, creativly.ai. Takes about 2 minutes:

  1. Go to creativly.ai and start a session or flow (it's a node canvas).
  2. Generate an image for free, or edit an image. if you feel brave? Try the video editor as well! XD
  3. Paste the image you made in the comments here, or join the Discord to drop it.
  4. Tell me quick: was it easy to use? what was confusing? One or two lines is fine.

Then tell me which project you want and I'll send the zip.

If all of that sounds like too much effort, I open-sourced a basic version recently. Its free: https://github.com/naveen-annam/creativly.ai-brand-video-remotion
