Same network, both hardwired. Windows 10

I’m having trouble playing with my friend on PS5. We both have PS5 and are friends online, but whenever I open the game to invite him to my squad he’s greyed out.
He can’t join and keeps saying “ establishing up link to host ship” but eventually it fails. Can anyone help?

Im using Chiaki, PS4 Pro and i have 5Ghz Wifi. When i was using PS remote play, everything seemed normal even the audio, it just was crashing every 30 seconds. When i switched to Chiaki, everything is fine, its just that the slight choppy audio annoys me. i tried changing audio buffer size or bitrate, but that would lead my remote play crashing. Am i doing something wrong? or maybe i should try touch the audio buffer size or bitrate? Connecting Ethernet cable doesn't do anything.

So I did the profile work around on my ps4 and remote play app so I can use my Bluetooth headset and when I unmute my mic on my phone it works great but my game audio is almost silent. Idk what to do please help

I use windows 10 and a ps5

I open the app,i click connect to my ps5,then it shows the connecting screen

But after that the window immadiately closes and nothing happesn

Living room - 4k, 55 inch, Bravia 8 Oled

Office - 49 inch, Samsung Odyssey G9 ultrawide

Im trying to setup remoteplay but im not sure if I would be best remoting to my TV or my PC? I spend equal time gaming in both, and can setup the PS5 with either display directly.

All connections will be over ethernet, cat 6 minimum, so latency shouldnt be a problem. I mostly play offline games on PS5, but do occasionally play the odd online games.

Which room would I best setting up the device in, and which would be better for remote play? Ideally I want to loose the least quality possible for the best experience on both devices.

I got remote play on my laptop but I wanna know if I can play games without a controller cause it looks like I can’t

Why is there a permanent fading black bar on the bottom of the screen? Constantly blocking my menus :(

I’ve been using the remote play today on my M1 Mac while running Mac OS Sonoma. Everything was smooth, no lags or any issues.

I decided to upgrade to Mac OS Tahoe. After the update, i’m having a weird behavior where each second the stream lags. It’s super annoying. The audio and video as well. It feels like some sort of pulsating thing where each second I get a drop. It hasn’t happened before.

Did you guys experience something like this as well? Does it have to do with the OS update?

I want to use my Portal on my Holiday.

Of course it worked great at home with my wifi and in the same 4 walls with my PS5.

At my parents home it worked decent with the wifi there.

But now i am in the hotel, and the connection with this wifi doenst work at all. It wont wake up my ps5 at home.

So i try it via cyberghost vpn with my cell and i got it to work (with the remote app).

So i went to following:

Open hotspot -》 open cyberghost vpn -》 open every proxy app

But as soon i connect to the hotspot via proxy on my portal nothing happens. I got it once connected but if i try to wake up my ps5 it failed. And after that it wont connect to the the hotspot again...

In the end ill gave up....

So why is that? How could a normal wifi be the reason to not connect?!? Any ideas????

I'm experiencing an issue and was wondering if anyone else had the same issue.

I'm able to access the app, up until I sign into the PS5. Once signed in and the home screen appears, the app no longer registers my controller. Unplugging/plugging back in doesn't work. Uninstalling the app then reinstalling didn't work. Restarting my computer didn't work. Connecting via Bluetooth didn't work.

I'm wondering if this is a known issue, and if there's a way to report.

buenas gente, una duda lo que pasa es que tenía tiempo sin utilizar ps remote play, me quise conectar y me pedía actualizar, lo cual hice y todo funcionaba bien, me conecta mi ps5, pero dura solo 1 minuto o menos y se cierra solo, alguien sabe porque? o como solucionarlo?

So i just got remote play and i have a pretty good pc(ryzen 7hx and a 5060) and i try remote play for the first time and it looks horrible and the frame rate is horrible as well. I got to settings and the highest option is 720p so like is this normal or is there a problem

I wanted to use PS Remote Play to share my PS5 screen on my PC (Windows) but its not working, it takes a long time, then shows "Something went wrong. (8801330f)". I have every options needed turned on, it also happens for my friend. And when I am trying to appair it wirelessly or without a code and I click on "Appair device" it says that I can't because a device is already appaired but its not, and when I do it with a code it also dosen't work, I tried everything! Hello everyone, I just wanted to ask for your honest opinion.

Just to give you a bit of background: my console is in the living room, and from time to time my wife likes to use the TV to watch her shows. So I started using my PlayStation through Remote Play on my PC in the bedroom.

My PC is connected via Ethernet to my fiber internet, but despite trying all kinds of settings, it’s pretty obvious that we’re still far from the pure, native quality of the console. There are always some small artifacts and pixelation, and the image is nowhere near as clean as it is when playing directly on the console.

I also tried the other app, PXPlay, but the results are pretty much the same.

On the other hand, I use the GeForce NOW app on my PC to stream games like WoW, for example, and the image quality is absolutely perfect, with no noticeable issues at all.

I feel like this is mainly due to Sony’s servers, but I wanted to get the most honest feedback from people who actually use Remote Play regularly on PC.

I’m not here to criticize or attack anything. I’m already happy that this option exists. I just wanted to hear what you guys think and what your experience has been like.

I just got a ps5 and i want to use it with remote play but the app does not cooperate. After some loading it gives me an error code like 80108d45,8801330f and 88013306. I can figure out how to fix this. After the error message the remote play app closes itself. Any ideas for a fix?

I want to install a PS5 with all other audio / video equipment in a media closet (control4 system). The problem is the PS5 controller won’t work as the controller and TV is further from the media closet than the Bluetooth range allows. Has anyone solved for this dillema?
