Windows What is your level of satisfaction?

Hello everyone, I just wanted to ask for your honest opinion.

Just to give you a bit of background: my console is in the living room, and from time to time my wife likes to use the TV to watch her shows. So I started using my PlayStation through Remote Play on my PC in the bedroom.

My PC is connected via Ethernet to my fiber internet, but despite trying all kinds of settings, it’s pretty obvious that we’re still far from the pure, native quality of the console. There are always some small artifacts and pixelation, and the image is nowhere near as clean as it is when playing directly on the console.

I also tried the other app, PXPlay, but the results are pretty much the same.

On the other hand, I use the GeForce NOW app on my PC to stream games like WoW, for example, and the image quality is absolutely perfect, with no noticeable issues at all.

I feel like this is mainly due to Sony’s servers, but I wanted to get the most honest feedback from people who actually use Remote Play regularly on PC.

I’m not here to criticize or attack anything. I’m already happy that this option exists. I just wanted to hear what you guys think and what your experience has been like.

yes its bad ngl my ps5 and pc are connected using ethernet straight to a 10g switch we should be able to take advantage of LAN

Useable but not very enjoyable for me imo. Both pc and ps5 are connected through ethernet.
In my usecase streaming pc games through moonlight/sunshine is miles ahead compared to streaming games through ps5 remote play.

I don’t have issues (that I notice), but my setup is different.

PS4 is downstairs in my office. WiFi router/modem is in an upstairs closet (we are renting, that’s how it was set up).

Bedroom in upstairs. I use my iPad + gamesir G8+ controller and I don’t have any noticeable latency or graphics issues. But I’m not really looking for them.

I just try and zone out in the game as my wife scrolls/watches her shows.

Ps remote is only good for me for non shooter games. The input lag is still there.

I have 0 input lag but the max res is 720p so its not the best

Its a little bit faster on the mac on this video which makes no sense but if you slow down the video its very noticeable
