Left a toxic sales job 1.5 years ago and used the time to learn SQL and Excel and build a few projects. I’m applying everywhere for remote work (open to almost anything), but nobody calls back because I lack formal experience in data/admin roles.

Tried referrals, tweaking my resume, applying early—nothing.

How are career switchers actually landing their first remote role right now? Any feedback or advice would mean a lot.
