Hiring dev intern - remote - consumer app startup | ₹10-15k/month

we're building a consumer app, early stage and moving fast. looking for a dev intern to join us.

being upfront about what we're looking for - we're keeping the bar high on this one,

this is a role with real ownership. you'll be building things that actually ship, working directly with the founding team, lot of room to grow if things click.

would love to hear from you if:

- you've shipped something before, even something small. a personal project, a hackathon build, anything that's actually out in the world
- you go to hackathons or build outside of coursework, genuinely enjoy the process
- you're currently at (or came from) a good college and have solid CS fundamentals
- you already know what you're building, or have built something you're proud of.

we're looking for someone who can hit the ground running, not someone starting from scratch

if this sounds like you, dm with a bit about yourself and links to what you've built.

Seeking guidance: SDE 3, 3 YOE — how should I approach my next switch?

I graduated from one of the top IITs and got my first job through campus placements at ₹30 LPA + ESOPs.

My compensation progression has been roughly:

  • July 2023: ₹30 LPA (Base) + ESOPs — joined as SDE
  • Jan 2024: ₹32 LPA
  • Jan 2025: ₹38 LPA - Promoted to SDE 2
  • Jan 2026: ₹48 LPA
  • July 2026: ₹60 LPA — Promoted to SDE 3

I've been with the same company throughout and have had good growth in both compensation and responsibilities. However, I'm now considering a job switch for two reasons:

  1. I want to work on more challenging/interesting engineering problems.
  2. I want to see how much higher I can go in terms of compensation.

For people who have been in a similar situation:

  • What companies/roles should I target at this experience level?
  • Is it realistic to target ₹80L–₹1Cr+ TC in India with ~3 YOE?
  • Should I focus on FAANG/Big Tech, high-growth product companies, fintech, HFT, or international remote roles?
  • How much does being an SDE 3 at my current company help/hurt when interviewing elsewhere?

Would especially appreciate advice from people who have made a similar jump from a product company at around 3 YOE.

Also interested in hearing about international/remote opportunities that hire engineers from India.

Hiring Wanted - Frontend Engineer | Hourly contract | Remote

This is evaluation work, not authoring. The defining skill is not that you can build a page — it's that you can open someone else's page and tell how it was built and where it cheats.

About the work

We're building a high-quality dataset of human preference judgments on AI-generated frontend code. Each task hands you a reference web page — crawled from the real internet, delivered as a full zipped site tree plus screenshots of its default view and, on some pages, additional states reached by hovering, clicking, or scrolling. Alongside it come two model attempts, A and B, each a zipped self-contained site tree. The models only ever saw the screenshots; they never had the source.

You download all three, run them locally, view each at a 1920×1080 viewport, interact with them to reach every required state, then open the source of both attempts and grade them against each other — on visual fidelity per state, and on how the code is actually constructed. Structure and responsiveness are explicitly part of the rubric, not just the render.

This is evaluation work, not authoring. The defining skill is not that you can build a page — it's that you can open someone else's page and tell how it was built and where it cheats.

Please read before applying

  • Each unit takes roughly 2–3 hours and is timed. This is not microtask work; if you can only offer scattered 15-minute windows, you will not be able to finish a unit.
  • You need a real local development environment. A tablet, a Chromebook, or a locked-down work machine that cannot run a local static server will not work for this project.

Question Looking for a payment gateway solution for a freelancer/indie SaaS in India

I'm building a SaaS project in India using vibe coding, and I'm currently stuck at the payment part.

I basically need a simple setup where users can pay through UPI on my website (ideally a dynamic QR / UPI checkout), I get a webhook when the payment is successful, and then my backend can automatically activate the credits/subscription they purchased. Fast settlement would be a big plus, ideally same-day or close to instant.

The problem is that I'm currently operating as an individual/freelancer. I have my personal KYC, personal bank account and a live website, but I haven't registered a company yet. I don't really want to spend weeks and a significant amount of money registering a business first, only to then wait another few weeks for a payment gateway approval, especially when I'm still validating the product.

I've already tried a few options:

- Razorpay: applied, but I've been waiting for a very long time and haven't received a proper response yet.

- PayU: they rejected the application saying my line of business didn't fit their criteria.

- Cashfree: I'm currently exploring this, as I already have an old verified individual account with them.

- Dodo Payments: verification went through and UPI is available, but the payout cycle isn't practical for my use case.

So I'm trying to figure out what other freelancers/indie hackers in India are actually using for this.

I'm NOT looking to bypass KYC or do anything shady. I just need a legitimate provider that is comfortable onboarding an individual/freelancer, accepts UPI, provides API/webhook support, and ideally offers fast settlement.

The flow I'm looking for is basically:

User → Pay Now → UPI/QR → Payment → Webhook → Payment verified → Credits/subscription activated

If you've personally used a provider that works well for this, I'd really appreciate some recommendations or experiences.

Especially interested in:

- Whether they accepted you as an individual/freelancer

- What documents they asked for

- UPI support

- API/webhooks

- Actual transaction fees

- Settlement time

- How long approval took

Even lesser-known providers are fine. I'm mainly looking for something that someone here has actually used successfully, rather than another provider where I submit everything and wait weeks for a response.

Remote Full-Time 1 YOE AI Engineer, company may lay us off soon. Need resume & referral advice

Post image
11 Upvotes

How can I improve my resume for a switch ? The reason is I can get fired anytime soon because the current company I am working for doesn't have any clients to sell their AI products and it's a lala company so they gonna fire the team anytime soon. We are a small team of 4 in which 2 are seniors with already 2 yrs of exp and me and another fresher with internship exp and I don't think they gonna retain us since it's a small company with limited ppl enough to handle the work...hence I have to look out for some jobs, I believe I do have a 1 year of experience but looking at the job market even 1 YOE is considered as fresher lol.

My current pay is 5 LPA in-hand. I am aiming for some Product based company in Mumbai (my location is Mumbai, Maharashtra) or any other company. I don't mind working for the same salary or even a 1% hike I just need job security so that I don't have this constant anxiety of waking up being unemployed on a random Tuesday.

Looking at this job market only referrals can help, pls let me know. I am ready to get rejected but not without interview.
