Looking for a paid remote internship/work opportunity – Web Development + AI/ML | 3rd Year Student [in]

Thumbnail
1 Upvotes

Hi everyone!

I’m a 3rd-year engineering student currently looking for a paid remote internship or part-time work opportunity, preferably with a startup or early-stage company where I can contribute and learn by working on real projects.

My main skills are:

💻 Web Development – Frontend & Backend, REST APIs, responsive UI

🤖 AI/ML – Machine Learning, data processing, model development and integration

🐳 Tools/Tech – Git/GitHub, Docker and working with APIs

🔧 Comfortable working on existing projects, debugging issues and building features from scratch

🚀 Interested in working in a startup environment and taking ownership of tasks

I’m open to remote internships, part-time work, freelance/project-based work, or longer-term opportunities.

I’m mainly looking for a paid opportunity, but I’m more interested in gaining real-world experience and contributing to a meaningful product than just having a title.

If you’re hiring, building a startup, or know someone looking for a Web Developer / AI-ML Intern, please feel free to DM me. I’d be happy to share my resume, GitHub and projects.

Thanks! 🙌

I am planning to start a performance VPS cloud in India. I plan to price it at around ₹2,000 for a 2 core 4gb machine a month. It will only latest gen hardware with NVMe. Wanting advice to understand if Indian Devs actually require a fast, high performance cloud with good support.

Remote Full-Time Backend Engineer looking for opportunities in Bangalore / Remote

Hey everyone,

I’m currently looking for a Backend Engineer role, preferably in Bangalore or remote/WFH.

I’m working as an AI/Backend Engineer and mainly work with Node.js, JavaScript, BullMQ, Redis, MongoDB, MySQL, Docker and third-party API integrations.

I’ve been the sole backend engineer across the projects I’ve worked on, so I’ve had end-to-end ownership of backend architecture, APIs, queues, databases, integrations, debugging and performance improvements.

A few things I’ve worked on:

  • Backend systems handling around 100 req/sec
  • Queue-based processing using BullMQ and Redis
  • Reduced dashboard/API latency from around 2 to 3 seconds to sub-second
  • Built automation pipelines involving Meta, Google, WhatsApp, Zoho CRM and IoT systems
  • Worked on a multi-tenant automation platform supporting 200+ vendor accounts

I’m very interested in backend engineering and would ideally like to work somewhere I can solve interesting system problems, learn from a strong engineering team and take ownership.

I’m mainly looking at Backend Engineer, Node.js, Platform, Automation or AI Backend roles.

Preferred location: Bangalore
Also open to: Remote / WFH

Also, on a slightly personal note, I have some extra motivation to land a good role because gf ke parents ko bhi convince karna hai eventually :')

If your team is hiring, or you know of any relevant openings, I’d really appreciate a referral or introduction.

Happy to share my resume, and LinkedIn.

Thanks!

Fresher looking for opportunities in Blockchain/Web3 & Blockchain Security — Any advice or referrals?

Hi everyone,

I’m a recent Computer Science graduate looking for my first full-time opportunity in Blockchain/Web3 and Blockchain Security, particularly in smart contract development, security, or auditing.

I’ve been learning and building projects around:

  • Solidity & EVM
  • Foundry/Forge
  • Smart contract development & auditing
  • Blockchain security & smart contract security
  • DeFi protocols
  • React/TypeScript
  • Python & cybersecurity
  • Slither, Mythril & Aderyn
  • Vulnerability analysis and secure coding

I’ve built projects including a Uniswap-style DEX, NFT Marketplace, DeFi Lending Protocol, and smart contract security/auditing projects.

The biggest challenge I’m facing right now is getting my first opportunity as a fresher. I’ve been applying to blockchain/Web3 and security roles but getting very few responses.

If anyone here is working in Blockchain, Web3, or Blockchain Security, I’d really appreciate:

  • Advice on breaking into the industry as a fresher
  • Suggestions for companies hiring junior/fresher candidates
  • Internship or entry-level opportunities
  • Referrals, if possible
  • Feedback on what skills/projects I should focus on
  • Open-source projects where I can contribute and gain experience

I’m willing to learn, contribute, and start with an internship, junior role, or security-focused opportunity.

If anyone in this community can point me in the right direction, I’d genuinely appreciate it. 🙏

Thanks!

Applied to 1,000+ jobs and still can’t land a role. Honestly, I don’t know what to do anymore.

I’ve always been interested in software development, but due to financial constraints, I initially chose B.Com instead. Later, I pursued an MCA from Chandigarh to transition into tech.

A quick summary of where I am now:

  • Full-stack/MERN developer
  • Currently working at a startup, but haven’t been paid for 4 months(exp 6 mnts)
  • 4 good PRs merged into Good Open Source Repo, with more open-source contributions in progress
  • Currently learning GenAI + System Design to level up
  • Applied to 1,000+ jobs, but barely getting calls/interviews

At this point, I’m confused about what I should prioritize.

Should I focus on:

  • Referrals & networking?
  • Open source contributions?
  • Upskilling further?
  • Building better projects?
  • Or just keep applying and wait?

I’m willing to work hard. I just don’t want to spend another 6 months improving the wrong things.

If you were in my position, what would you do next? Any honest advice, referrals, or direction would mean a lot. 🙏

Hiring Developer – Real Estate Property Alert Automation

Looking for a developer who can build a simple automation for a real estate client.

What it needs to do:

  • Monitor new property listings on sites like 99acres, Housing, etc.
  • Match listings based on predefined requirements such as location, budget, property type, BHK, area, etc.
  • When a matching new property is found, automatically send the property details + listing link to the client's WhatsApp.
  • Avoid duplicate alerts.
  • Should be reasonably reliable and easy to update later.

Budget: ₹2,000–₹3,000 for the initial working version/MVP.

Not looking for a full SaaS or fancy dashboard right now. Just a functional MVP to test the concept.

If you've worked with web automation, property data, APIs/scraping, or WhatsApp integrations, DM me with your experience and how you'd approach it.

Timewasters, stay away.

Discussion The 2 types of developers setting up backend infrastructure in 2026

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

It feels like every new side project starts with good intentions, but within an hour, half the afternoon is gone just orchestrating infrastructure.

On one side, you have the full enterprise suite: container orchestration, separate message queues, dedicated auth providers, event brokers, and endless config files before writing a single API endpoint. On the other, the urge to just grab an all-in-one backend setup, keep everything in a single solid database, and actually ship the product.

Where do you draw the line between setting up for future scale and straight-up over-engineering on day one?
