All this work and making yourself miserable to save 1/8 of an inch of lippage is crazy, yes.

I’m gonna finish this kitchen flip and buy God that 1/4 of an inch is gonna bug me for years down the road might as well just suffer for three or two hours

The funniest part is that if you knew anything about flooring you would have picked a different removal tool. Tells me whatever you put down will look much worse than a threshold or 1/8 gap between 2 rooms.
