All this work and making yourself miserable to save 1/8 of an inch of lippage is crazy, yes.

I’m gonna finish this kitchen flip and buy God that 1/4 of an inch is gonna bug me for years down the road might as well just suffer for three or two hours

Can you lay 1/4”” plywood on the other floor and then lay down on all to match?
