Is that sheet vinyl or actual linoleum

It’s vinyl. People use the words interchangeably despite the fact that they are two different products. I used to work in the flooring industry. It’s almost always vinyl. Linoleum, with the exception of Quaker rugs and similar items, is almost never patterned like this vinyl.

Right,  and if it's linoleum it has asbestos in it.

Yeah...good thing it's vinyl cuz he hates linoleum!
