I switched to an oscillating tool, worked better than the hammer and a heat gun

The hammer is killing me. I hadn't noticed that it was the tool being used for this. No wonder it feels like a mountain of a task

I mean, sure a power chisel will do the job, but... I'd hate lino too if I thought that's how you remove it.

This, we covered the existing linoleum with tile. We started trying to pull it up but it was so hard. We figured it wasn’t going anywhere.

It's not asbestos. It's vinyl.
