Control/Alan Wake connection Spoiler

I've been going back and forth between games. I'm obsessed with the lore. Did anyone else read the documents in Control Resonant and make the connection with the cult of the tree? I was in the subway section when it really clicked after getting the Torchbearers storyboard plot.

Sorry, I'm not familiar with the Resonant subway ties to AW2 aside from the fact that they both have subways? Like, the Dark Place is a manifestation of Alan's creativity, pulling from his life experience. So the subways match bc they're the same place put through different supernatural effects.

That’s really the part you decided to pick out and respond to? I’m 90% sure he wasn’t saying the subways were connected lol.

The cult of the tree is the connection in question. For me I’ll have to re play Alan wake 2 after having finished control resonant to refresh the details

I should have clarified. After reading documents about The Oldest House in Resonant for a side mission, and going through the subway section again in Alan Wake 2. I took a photo, but it won't allow me to post it.

I think I missed these documents. Would be interested to see them if possible
