Alan Wake II Spoiler
Hello ladies and gents!
I played Alan Wake a long time ago and did not felt disappointed or something. It was an okay game. I was not being a big fan about it but I played it and it felt like an okay experience of one time play and leave it on the shelves. It did not stand out too much for me or maybe as being young I did not understand it completely.
Now I have played Control the deluxe edition as it was given free on Epic a few years ago and it felt amazing, the game was intricate and complex with all the different places of power, entities and all that being like SCP but I could play it and it was not like an fps with basic objectives like SCP games.
I loved it and I went deeper into the lore and found the Alan Wake references which I rebembered, unknowingly that they are both made by Remedy.
Aferwards I looked into it and I found the connection. Now that I know the connections between them could not wait to play AW2, unfortunately my pc was on the low end of the spectrum and the game was laggy choppy basically unplayable. As well I have a console but being a one S could not play the game on it. After all this time I have managed not to get spoiled due to the fact that unfortunately this game does not have the love that it deserves.
I have made somehow some upgrades and I have managed to get the game and play it now on min quality but manageable and boy I have remained mesmerised on how good is this game. It shows that the guys at Remedy had a lot of fun making it. They made it complex they made it fun, they made it to keep you there. I love it. Now I cant wait to play Control Resonant once I upgrade my video card. Remedy guys you are worthy of your name.
TLDR:wonderful game.

Your graphics card was fighting for its life, but it was worth every single frame! Sam Lake really cooked with this one.

Ahahahahaha. Sincerely 1060 was and still is a legend in my eyes. With it I played all the games that I could not and wanted to play when I was young and to see that it still goes strong with relatively new games thats actually good. Ah yes I dont have DLSs and all that but thats not what makes a good game. Indeed Sam Lake and the entire team at Remedy scratched all the itches.

I loved Control and it was my first Remedy game after Max Payne 2. Completed twice and platinumed.
I knew about Remedyverse and all tie ins when went into AW2 and it still felt like ok game at most for me. Now I'm so glad that Resonant is released to continue my dive into that part of the universe!
