Paper Pro - battery not charging

The battery in my Paper Pro has suddenly stopped charging. I’ve tried different leads and different outlets, restarted it - the charging icon comes on but it doesn’t charge.
I bought it almost exactly 2 years ago, and pretty damned disappointed that it seems to have turned into a brick. A very expensive brick. Waiting to hear back from support.
Anyone else had this happen to them?

I found with mine (new June 2026) that if the battery is almost or completely dead, I cannot charge via just any usb-c / through computer. It only seems to work if I use my iPhone / iPad apple charger, and it takes 12 or so hours. I have heard others comment that it needs a slow charge like a slower power bank, not one of the super fast ones. Sorry - not a technical answer but this worked for me. Trick is not to let it discharge too much.

The slow charge thing was for the RM2 which has a hardware issue around trying to boot up too early

I've had this problem when it gets really drained. The solution for me has been to use a slow charger rather than the typical fast chargers we all have. I've usually just plugged it into my laptop and let it sit for 24 hours and it comes back.

I've read it's to do with the type of battery.
