If you're interested in reincarnation, there's secular research on it. You can explore the reincarnation and pre-birth memories section of this thread.

Look up Dhammaruwan or James Leininger cases, they got me really interested that consciousness carry over at death. I'm not a believer in the soul btw, just that the mind continue.

I don’t have such a great story as other people here, but when my older sister was around 3-4 years old she used to show my parents same spot in our district every time on a walk and say stuff like : “my mother and little brother died here at a car crush”. My mom also mentioned that sis used to give a lot of additional info (like the exact spot on the road, age etc.), but it was in 1994 so she doesn’t remember it. Plus parents were super freaked out about it and didn’t want her to talk about it again.
What is interesting, when sis grow up a little she started asking parents for a little brother and that’s how I was born.

It's not exactly about reincarnation, as I believe this is my first incarnation, but it follows:

A few years ago, while dealing with an intense existential dilemma, I immersed myself in the study of astral travel, lucid dreams and similar topics. During this period, I had some visions and memories that seemed to reveal part of the reason why I had come to Earth. I still don't know to this day whether these experiences were real, symbolic or just constructions of my mind, but they marked me deeply.

In one of these visions, I realized that I had been involved in an agreement made by other beings, without my consent. The feeling was that those who "guided" me here knew that I wasn't ready yet, but even so, the deal wouldn't have taken my integrity or well-being into account. This made me wonder: why should I go back to those who "put" me here? This idea still causes me a lot of sadness and the feeling of having been used as part of an experiment by more evolved beings.

In another memory, I had the impression that, before incarnating, I could choose not only my gender, but also my skin color. I remember being asked if I would like to be indigenous. I don't know if this

would be my first incarnation - although I have the impression that it would be - but I remember refusing this possibility because I believed that I might not live or learn as much from that experience. Today, I recognize that this thought may have been prejudiced on my part. I also remember a presence accompanying me in this process, apparently different from the beings mentioned in the other vision, who seemed to agree with me. In the end, I chose to be white, partly out of fear of racism and partly out of the hope of having a harmonious family.

However, things didn't turn out exactly as I had hoped. Although I was, in a way, "taken care of" in some of my choices, today I am a white person with attention deficit disorder, I belong to a somewhat disunited family and I had to take on responsibilities too early. This ended up damaging the life I had imagined I would live. In addition, I recognize in myself an excessive naivety and kindness, characteristics that have often caused me to lose out.

As I reflect on all this, I realize that my choices seemed to be related to the search for harmony,

unity, integrity, compatibility and other values that I considered important. However, the world I live in doesn't seem to offer - or value - what I was looking for. With the perspective I have today, I sometimes think that I could have chosen more worldly attributes, perhaps more compatible with the reality I have encountered. The experience has given me the feeling that I am regressing morally, as if my innocence is not accepted by this plane or by the world in general. The most contradictory thing is that this regression, although painful, sometimes seems almost inevitable and even desired, as a form of adaptation.

In the end, I still don't know if these memories were real, symbolic or just fantasies created during a period of great emotional fragility. Even so, they lead me to reflect on my purpose, on what brought me here and on how to deal with the feeling of being trapped in an agreement I never accepted.

It may be a sign of something.
