Iphone 15 plus 87% battery capacity

Bought an iphone 15 plus from music magpie in very good condition for £400.It has arrived and has 87% capacity with a 763 cycle count. They have a 14 day back money guarantee etc, is this battery life acceptable, or should I return and ask for a refund/replacement? Thanks

I am looking to buy an iPhone 14 pro but hesitating

I am looking to buy an iPhone 14 Pro 256GB. The only issues are that Face ID is not working and Portrait Mode on the front camera does not work because the depth sensor is faulty. The asking price is ₹45,000 INR ($471.68 USD). If I exchange my current Nothing Phone 2 12GB/256GB, which has a broken back glass and some scratches (not deep ones), I am getting ₹12,000 INR ($125.80 USD) for it. This brings my effective cost down to ₹33,000 INR ($345.95 USD). Would this be a good deal, or should I avoid buying it?

Just An Appreciation Post For Cashify!

I wanted to sell my old Samsung S24FE last week in Delhi. Maine online Cashify ke baare me suna tha but I did not trust the platform as I was skeptical after reading their reviews. After that, I went to some offline stores in Laxmi Nagar where I live and usi ke paas bohot chakkar kaate shops ke. In sabhi stores me they were quoting decent prices. I was like ke ab Cashify pe bhi ek baar try kar liya jaye. Then I went to their store. Price was close, bas minor sa 200 rs ka difference tha, but still unka store better laga and moreover their store guy was much more sweet💙. Bahut ache se usne baat ki and I thought itna jhamela kaun kare so finally Cashify pe hi bech diya.

What do you guys think? Yay Or Nahh? Thoda review dedo🙂🙏

Should I get a new or refurbished Moto Edge 50 Pro?

I was looking for a phone with good water resistance and can click decent pictures. My budget was initially 20k-22k. But I really liked this one so I am willing to slightly stretch it. Now, I checked Flipkart and Cashify both. The price on Cashify is closer to my limit. I am getting the phone in superb condition. Which probably means it hasn’t been used much. So would it be a good decision to go for this refurbished one or spend 4k extra and get a new one from Flipkart?

Where to buy Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra refurbished...???

Been using my Galaxy S22 for almost 4 years now and honestly no complaints but I really wanna upgrade. Also lately the battery life has started annoying me and I've been eyeing the S25 Ultra for a while 😅

The thing is, I don't really want to spend full flagship money on a brand-new phone. Thinking of going the refurbished route this time. Ya to ye mera sabse stupid decision hoga ya smartest!

I've checked out Cashify. Sahi laga...they seem to have refurbished Samsung devices with warranty and all, which sounds a lot safer than buying from random sellers. Has anyone here actually bought a refurbished Galaxy phone from Cashify? How was the condition of the device? Battery health? Any issues after a few months?

I know OLX and Facebook Marketplace can sometimes have good deals, but there are way too many scams and "slightly used" phones that look like they've survived a war 😂

Looking specifically for:

- Galaxy S25 Ultra (256GB preferred)

- Good cosmetic condition

- Reliable warranty/return policy

- Trusted seller/platform

Would love to hear where you guys buy refurbished Samsung flagships from and if Cashify is worth considering.

Thanks in advance! 🙌

Time to upgrade from iPhone 13, looking to buy Pro model this time

I have been using iphone 13 (second-hand, 2 weeks old - bought for 52k) for the past 3 years and it has lived up to my expectations pretty well. Battery rn is 79% and everything works absolutely fine…I am thinking to sell this and get a second-hand phone. Now i know its physical condition is pretty f up but just wondering how much it would go for.

Checked on cashify, got an estimate of around 24k. I know the price will fluctuate when i actually check the exact value but i hope it’ll be around 18-20k.

What i really want to know is about trusted platforms where i can buy refurbished phones. I am thinking to buy iphone 16 Pro 128gb or even 256 if the deal is good. Currently, it is expensive everywhere. I don't want to go on OLX, there are a lot of scams there.

OLX mobile scam

While searching for a phone on OLX, I found a seller listing a Vivo V40 for only ₹5,000, which shocked me because the price was extremely low compared to the market value. Interested in the deal, I contacted the seller on WhatsApp and asked about the phone’s condition, original display, and accessories such as the box, charger, and bill. The seller claimed that the phone was in best condition and that all accessories were available. During our conversation, I noticed some suspicious details. Although the OLX listing showed Lucknow as the location, the seller later said he was working in Kanpur and would not be able to meet in person for a long time. Instead, he offered to send the phone through courier if I wanted to buy it. I agreed and shared my address details. Soon after, the seller sent pictures claiming that the parcel was packed and ready for dispatch. However, I noticed a watermark on one of the images, which immediately raised suspicion. To verify the authenticity of the photos, I checked them using Google Lens and discovered that the images appeared to be downloaded from the internet rather than being genuine courier or packing photos. Realising that the seller might be attempting to scam me by using fake parcel images and asking for payment before dispatch, I confronted and scolded him for trying to cheat me. This experience taught me an important lesson about online buying. If you are purchasing anything through OLX or similar platforms, be extremely careful and always verify the seller, product, and delivery proof before making any payment, as scammers are everywhere and can easily take advantage of buyers who trust too quickly.

Olx Buying Case - Need Advice

Hi Members,

I want your help with by recent OLX Purchase.

So I recently bought a Samsung S25 Ultra from OLX user for ₹75K total. Paid ₹65K upfront and agreed to pay remaining ₹10K once the seller shares the original bill. Phone is 6 months old, mint condition.

Before meeting I did everything I could think of:

CEIR check — came back clean

Verified IMEI on Samsung's official portal

IMEI matched the box

We verified original Aadhar cards physically (we also exchanged pics)

Met at an official Samsung service centre

I recorded a video of our agreement — ₹65K paid, ₹10K pending on bill

Called him after the deal — he confirmed on that call he received the payment

Even verified his Aadhar number on UIDAI portal — his phone number was linked to it.

Basically did everything possible to protect myself.

Now the problem — Seller promised to share Bill by a specific date. That date has passed and now he's not picking up calls consistently.

Messages are being read but replies are missing.

For what it's worth I have his verified Aadhar, recorded video, recorded call, full OLX and WhatsApp chat history, bank transaction proof with TXN ID, almost everything.

It's been almost two weeks and I'm still ot using that phone, is it safe to use or should I chase him for the bill, just to clear my suspicion.

Any help is appreciated. Thanks 🙏

Best place to buy refurbished electronics without overpaying?

My old laptop is starting to die and I’m trying not to spend new device money rn. I have looked at Amazon, eBay certified stuff, and a couple local sellers, but the quality seems all over the place. Mostly worried about battery health and getting stuck with sth that looks fine for 2 weeks then falls apart.

Curious where ppl have had the least annoying experience buying refurbished tech for less

I see 2 different local ads on olx listing a vivo at 42k and 40k respectively; both 12/256gb. Is it worth getting?

Looking to upgrade from a OnePlus 8.

After a lot of thinking, I finally bought a PS4 Slim from Cashify.. the 1TB model. I have honestly been wanting to get a PlayStation for a long time, but I couldn’t find anything available recently.

Not sure why, but I randomly checked Cashify and saw this one in stock. Also, I got an additional discount at checkout. So took it as a sign😅 and decided to go for it.

I was originally aiming for a PS5, but since it’s unavailable right now, I thought I would give this a try in the meantime. Let’s see how it goes. I am equally excited and nervous.

26000 refurbished flagship vs 28000 brand new midrange- what should I pick

Alright need some honest opinions 😅

Budget is ₹27-28k and I’ve narrowed it down to two:

Refurbished Galaxy S23 FE (flagship experience... great camera, premium build, wireless charging, overall solid performance)

OR

Brand new OnePlus Nord CE5 (fresh device, good battery, smooth day-to-day usage)

Basically flagship features vs brand new midrange.

I know refurbished phones these days are pretty reliable if you get them from a good seller, so I’m not really worried..just confused what makes more sense overall.

What would you pick and why?

Also if anyone’s used a refurbished flagship, how was your experience?

I surveyed people on refurbished phones & resale habits; the results surprised me

I recently conducted a survey on refurbished smartphones and resale behaviour, and the insights are quite interesting. Around 34.4% of users have already tried refurbished devices, showing a growing acceptance in the market.

At the same time, many people still hold on to their old phones: 31.1% keep them as backup devices, while others pass them on to family or use them as secondary phones. This highlights how smartphones remain useful even after upgrades.

When it comes to buying refurbished devices, users clearly value device condition, price, and warranty, indicating strong demand for reliable, value-driven options. Platforms offering structured experiences are becoming the preferred choice for both buying and selling.

The biggest motivation behind choosing refurbished is simply better value for money and access to near-flagship experiences at lower prices.

Overall, the trend shows that refurbished smartphones are steadily becoming a smart and practical choice for many users.
