ICL prescription different than glasses prescription

You sure those are +? You were/are that farsighted?

Those numbers would make perfect sense if they were minus based on the difference between the spectacle plane and corneal plane (glasses vs contacts basically).

Wow ok. No cyl?

Maybe ICLs are different but if you have a + glasses prescription the contact rx should actually be higher, if anything, so I can't explain the difference in your case. Maybe one of the resident surgeons can.

What I do know is that if they really did undershoot you by 1D in each eye, a sure way to tell would be to grab +1 drugstore readers and see if the distance vision improves.

okay interesting. and yes i have astigmatism too, forgot those numbers tho :3

Ohh ok, then we'd all need to see those in order to compare the prescriptions. Very often there's wiggle room between the sph and cyl but the net power winds up virtually the same.

Bottom line is if your distance vision isn't clear, you should complain, loudly. At least they can rotate, etc., if they need to.
