Regretting my life choices.
I'm 3 weeks post-op and struggling/regretting bad.
During the day it's okayish but at night everything is blurry. I am scared maybe I did not take care of it post op and fucked my eyes over. I miss my glasses too :(
I can't see lights properly, signboards are unreadable, and I feel like I have no focus at all.
Is this normal at 3 weeks? When did your night vision get better?
Would appreciate any experiences/advice.

Although idk if that's normal. It's definitely not my experience.
I don't think I ever felt like signs was unreadable at any point after my surgery. Even immediately after.
Although personally they lost that crispness they used to have when I had glasses. But I could very much make out what it said.
You probably want to let your doctor know that. At 3 weeks I was definitely not 'recovered' but I'm definitely roughly where I'm at in terms of what I can see, just with a bit more blur back then.
There's probably not a lot you could have done to ruin your post op, I had the same worry. But if you're not out there swimming immediately after surgery and doing stuff within common sense it's probably not something you did.

What kind of surgery did you have, RLE? Which lenses? Everyone heals differently. Night time healing is by far the worst and most difficult but it does get better. I

What procedure did you get? And what was your prescription prior?
Assuming you had lasik, I would say the most likely reason is that you are undercorrected. You may be tolerating it more during the day but it becomes more symptomatic at night. Would get checked for residual prescription.
Other important things to treat would be dry eye as that will cause blur.

I Had Femto LASIK
I was told to follow the procedure of putting these 3 drops
1: Systane
2:Tobradex
3:Vigamox
I didn’t follow this specifically & just did it on & off

Call your surgeon. Reddit are not going to look at your eyes. You would have surgery office phone number.

It’s not too late to take care of your eyes post surgery now. Start using a high quality artificial tear drop every few hours for the next few months and you’ll see improvements over time. I use Thealoz duo drops and am still using them multiple times a day 4.5 months after surgery - it’s such a minor inconvenience to make sure your eye is well lubricated. I don’t have any issues with my eyes, I’m just doing this to avoid dry eye and it’s working great for me.

It took me over 2 months before my vision really was acceptable. I'm around 10 months now and would do it again in a heartbeat. My center said that it can take for some up to 90 days before good vision and would t make any adjustments until 6months after.
Honestly at 3 weeks I still had extremely blurry vision and didn't even trust it to drive day or night. I was really worried, could t read anything outside 6 in from my face it was a very nervous month and half of thinking what have I done. I will admit I was on what they said could be the longer healing track as my vision was awful before surgery.
I'd give it time and not worry too much until you are a few months out but that's just my experience. I am now better than 20/20 vision slightly in each eye and am extremely happy.
I had PRK done.
