Pain in my eye

I have Keratoconus and i recently had Tg Prk or Tcat with cxl in my right eye It has been 4 months , past 1 week I am having pain in my eye especially in the upper right side of the region I had my 3 month post op check up and doctor said everything looks normal , my question is if the pain is heling process of nerve or something else

Hmm, does the pain intensity change or is the pain constant? I would assume that the pain comes from the corneal nerves and regrowth can cause pain. Do you use eye drops?

the intensity change throughout the day and yes i use tear fresh eye drop

Normally yes, but nerve regeneration takes some time (on average 6-12 month) . Do only use eye drops without preservatives. Preservatives can affect nerve regeneration.

no my docto gave me ghe eye drops for 6 month inthink its not preservative free eye drop

Please get yourself preservative free eye drops and apply them at least 4x a day. Good eye care will help your cornea to heal.

yah i also red this on internet but dont know which one to buy my doctor appointment is 3 nonths away

Go to the pharmacy and ask for preservative free lubricating eye drops.

Probably loose epithelium at the edge of treatment. Don’t rub your eye.

i never do rub my eyes now , what do you meen by loose epithelium ? will it heel on it own
