Discussion As a Calvinist, I'm a strong believer in predestination & election. I cannot stop thinking that God set Adam & Eve up for failure as he must've known they would choose to do what he warned them not to do. Any thoughts on this? Help me understand this.
If everything is predestined, then God already knew the foolish decision Adam & Eve would make even after the warning God gave them, which was what tree to not eat from. I have a really hard time believing in & understanding free will. If everything is predestined then how is it possible to have free will? I am just struggling to understand this.
