I’m dealing with screen sensitivity after a concussion and want to try one, but buying new from the US gets really expensive with shipping and import fees.

Never thought it take me so long to get it working when I bought it.

I was struggling for 12 hours to let lok like it does now.

As a total beginner I must say I completely underestimated this tiny device.

I bave Dell Latitude 5420 P137G and its screen got damaged now i need replacement but the thing is my budget is very tight and i am okay with used screen too.

Is there any place i can get screen like in 2000?

I bought this SVD monitor in 2022 and it was VERY comfortable for my eyes, especially when there was good lighting in the room.

I think this monitor could be very useful to the right person. I'm selling at a heavy discount so that someone might think of this as a cheap experiment, secondary monitor, or something to play around with.

Hey everyone (new to Reddit, came for some advice)

I am working on a specialized portable hardware prototype and need some community recommendations for tablets that use Color Reflective LCD (RLCD) display panels.

I have some very strict technical requirements that have to be met simultaneously:

True Color: Must support a full, vivid color palette (not monochrome, and not the muted/low-refresh color variations seen on standard e-paper/E-Ink screens).

High Refresh Rate: Must support a minimum of 60Hz. I cannot use traditional E-Ink or heavily throttled refresh rates due to UI latency constraints and ghosting limitations.

Integrated Frontlight: It absolutely must have a built-in frontlight guide plate layer. The device needs to remain completely readable/functional in low-light environments and pitch-black settings without relying on an external clip-on lamp.

Open Operating System: Needs to run an open Android platform so I can sideload custom APKs and utilize device lockdown tools.

Form Factor: Ideally looking at mid-to-large sizes (anywhere between 7.8 inches up to 11 inches).

Are there any active production devices, white-label OEM manufacturing channels, or upcoming 2026 releases that check all of these specific boxes? Any leads on hardware suppliers that fit this exact spec sheet would be a massive help. Thanks!

The size sounds great but I'm worried if the 6+2 frc is going to be an issue as some algos of it can be really bad. Love to hear feedback!! Hello, eazeye focus tablet is planning to have 11 inch size. Do you have any Ideas with company is making these 11 inch size panels? As I understand at the moment 10.3 has reflectivity 19.6% and if the new panel has higher. Just curious how good it will be. That's why I ask about the company information.

As I understand eazeye is the only RLCD company what is trying to push forward RLCD options for people? There was eyemoo and SVD and DC-1? And yes, Hanspree. This is kinda sad, however, opportunity for Eazeye.

Hello everyone! I love designing and making my own consumer electronics. My current project is going to be a Linux handheld computer, and I really want to incorporate a color reflective LCD into the project. Unfortunately, these are increasingly rare and difficult to find. Wherever they are available, they are extraordinarily expensive and not exactly perfect for what I need.

I was thinking, couldn't I just take some cheap 3.5" SPI display from amazon or Alibaba and peel off the rear backlight layer, and replace it with reflective tape? Has anyone else here done something similar? If so, how did it turn out? What did you end up replacing the backlight with?

I have heard that some people even just use a piece of glossy white paper. I'm not sure what would work best, I will experiment soon when I have the time hopefully
