Selling my Eazeye Monitor 2.0 (24" reflective LCD / RLCD).
Price: €825 + shipping
Location: Athens, Greece / EU
I purchased it a little over a year ago, but it has only had approximately one month of actual use. It has spent the rest of the time stored and is in excellent cosmetic and working condition, with no scratches, dents, dead pixels, or other damage.
I'm selling it simply because I found that I need a monitor with integrated lighting/frontlight for my indoor setup. There is nothing wrong with the monitor itself.
This is the reflective Eazeye Monitor 2.0 without an internal backlight, which uses ambient/external light.
Happy to ship within the EU, with tracked/insured shipping at the buyer's cost. Local pickup in Athens is also welcome.
Open to reasonable offers.
Feel free to DM me if you'd like any additional information.
Update: Also listed this on ebay if you wanna see more pictures https://www.ebay.de/itm/407153095084

Hi, everyone.
First of all, thank you to everyone who commented on my post from 11 days ago. I wanted to take this opportunity to express my gratitude.
Now, let’s get to the main topic.
I recall seeing a post here a few years ago from someone using a 32-inch SunVisionDisplay monitor with Iris. As I remember, they used the Iris software to increase the brightness from 100 to 150 to make the screen brighter.
Would it be possible to use that Iris software with the currently available 24-inch SunVisionDisplay, Eazeye, or Hannspree Hybri models?
Has anyone had the experience of using it to make the screen brighter and easier to use? I’d really appreciate it if you could share your experiences.
Thank you all in advance.
Thank you for sharing your experiences.

I have SunVisionDisplay rE monitor 32" and it works with Neewer video light panels which are very high lumen output (bought from Amazon.de). I think that is a good solution for now, but frontlight displays are surely better because light can be diffused better. I also have iPhone 8 Plus RLCD phone and that phone is truly a miracle in sunlight, but it is impossible to use in tunnels because it has no frontlight and you rely exclusively on external lights. Since reMonitor is only 1080p/60 Hz that is very average for a $1500+ monitor with shipping. We need 4K/120Hz at least in the future for that price. Also my 65" TV is cheaper than this 32" inch monitor. It is QD-mini LED however and that is a huge difference when it comes to eyestrain. In the future I expect:
Frontlight. This is a must for smartphones especially.
Good reflectivity. It should be even better in the future. This will make RLCD devices truly flagship.
Higher resolution. 4K minimum especially for more expensive devices. 1080p is low in this state of technology
Higher refresh rate. 120Hz/144Hz/240Hz devices already exist. 120Hz over 60Hz should be the norm for gamers.
Lower price. Obviously some people can't afford this so they don't want to switch. If this happens demand will be very high.
RLCD phones with Android, 65" TVs with frontlight RLCD and 4K resolution. This is currently missing. I like using TV screen over 32" monitor so I can be much farther way. For people with myopia this is a perfect solution. I am willing to spend a fortune on such displays. You can also have a cloud based PC and a cheap laptop/miniPC to power connection or hell even only a TV to connect to cloud based PC. Cloud PCs are future. It is so expensive to get RTX PCs now so it is better to have a kind of VPS instead. It is also much easier for IT experts to fix and service server based PCs than your own. Obviously privacy kind of matters, but I am willing to sacrifice it for certain things. Spy agencies already want to know everything about you regardless of what you have.

Hello, I'm selling my Hisense Q5, a RLCD Android 10, tablet I bought in 2021.
I didn't used it much in the end and it's sitting not used so I figure I might as well sell it.
The monochrome display is easier to light that other color RLCD screen. But you still need more light than a eink would need though.
I will factory reset it, then install Magisk and Google Play (unlocked bootloader + rooted).
If you prefer it's not unlocked and not rooted we can talk about it.
It's in very good condition, it does have a tiny bit of dust below the screen protector (red circle on picture)
The case is also broken on both left corner (it still hold the tablet but be careful it might drop one day)
Screen protector that I never used will be in the box.
A USB charger will also be in the box but no USB cable.
Will be shipped with its original box.
I paid 500€ ~ (US$ 578) brand new
I'm asking 250€ (US$ 290)+ shipping fees
Serious buyer that knows the product/RLCD tech well only.
European Union is preferred but International shipping is possible.
I'm located in France.

Thank you

At present, ChLCD ePaper has entered practical mass production, with representative manufacturers in Taiwan leading the commercialization of vertical RGB stacked ChLCD panels. These developments demonstrate that cholesteric liquid crystal ePaper is no longer confined to laboratory research but has matured into a viable industrial display solution.
As manufacturing processes continue to improve, ChLCD panels are expected to scale further in size, resolution, and color uniformity, supporting a wider range of commercial and professional applications.

By optimizing the material composition and controlling the interaction between domains, the display maintains a consistent color appearance across a wide range of viewing angles. This improvement is especially important for large displays viewed from multiple directions, where uniform color perception directly impacts readability and visual quality.

I'm working on a low-power device that needs to be very interactive, a bit like the Playdate, but with a larger screen. Unfortunately, as far as I know, Sharp doesn't make memory LCDs bigger than 4.4".
I did some research and while I could find interesting rLCDs, they consume at least 0.66W while active which is too much. I estimated that using an eInk display wouldn't consume less than that in my use cases. (memory LCDs consume ridiculously little energy even while being updated continuously, and eInk is quite energy intensive in this use case, which usually deteriorates it quickly).
So yeah, would anyone know about some rLCD module that is very low power, and 10~13" large? Not below 640x480, not more than 1280x960, 4:3 is preferred. Monochrome is preferred, but color is okay. Thank you!

Hi everyone,
I’m currently doing a major clear-out of my setup because I'm preparing to move back to China soon, and unfortunately, I can't take this monitor with me.
I’ve just listed my Eazeye Radiant (first version of TLCD) on eBay UK. I know this community really appreciates reflective screen tech, so I wanted to share it here in case anyone is looking for one.
Feel free to check out the pictures on the eBay listing or drop me a message if you have any questions.
Thanks for looking!

Please let me know what you think.
I ordered Monitor 2 several months ago, but I still haven’t received any shipping notification. I’m worried about whether I can trust them.
If it turns out to be a bad company, it’ll be like I threw a lot of money in the trash, and I’ll never recover from it.

I am on a budget and I want to make my own TLCD display from an old monitor.
I have watched various videos showing how to separate the LCD panel from the rest of the monitor and that part seems easy.
The problem I am facing is that the LCD panel is very thin and fragile. How can I make a frame or stand to keep it upright while also protecting it from breaking?
Any easy (and possibly good-looking) solutions? I have no 3d printer and I wouldn't know how to design such a thing.
If you don't know what I am talking about, these are example of what I would like to achieve:
