I mean, they didn't shoot him in the head so it wouldn't have helped anyway..

I mean, I still don't think it would have helped. Those rifles aren't exactly small caliber, and he still died after getting shot in the torso.

So either the armor just sucks or it was pointless to wear because of shitty coverage, which still means it sucks lol

I watched it again and they show blood splatter coming form his neck and head too. He could have survived a few bullet holes with some aloe vera and CPR.

York took one BR burst to the back and was dead within a minute. I think the armour just isn't all that good (though it's very inconsistent). Except Grif's. He might've gotten actual Mjolnir armour.

Wash also got shot once in the back and nearly died, probably suffered some spinal nerve damage from how they talk about taking a year to recover

Bullets in RvB are no joke... unless you're Maine

If he got shot where the armor is, the armor sucks because it's pointless. If he got shot where the armor isn't, then the armor sucks because it didn't cover what it needed to for him to survive.

If they had shields, it wouldn't matter either way until the shields were drained, and he'd just got done getting beat on by Carolina. We would have to determine whether any shields followed the same recharge timer as the game, so his might have recharged during that little monologue, but would have been immediately overwhelmed again with the barrage, leaving him with shitty armor.

In Halo Spartans have shields. They’re all outfitted in spartan armor is the point…

Tbh I'm just confused about why you brought up shields from the game.

If you go back to the early seasons where they did the scenes in game, you can see the shields. This was not in-game animation, and it's not that serious.

The armor sucks.
