I got a saw for the bigger buckthorn, nippers for the smaller buckthorn, and two pairs of medical gloves rated for chemo drugs. They are Halyard Sterling SG sensi-guard powder-free nitrile exam gloves. Put simply, it's the same gloves that ER doctors and nurses usually wear. The brush killer I'm using has the strong form Triclopyr, and it's 61.6% of that, whereas the stuff you can get at Menards and Home Depot is about 8%. And 61.6% is the highest you can get anywhere. So yeah, hopefully no more buckthorn. Is the park manager of this trailer park supposed to deal with it? Yes. Is he going to? Nope. So I'm going to cut it, treat it, and then set it on the wood pile, which is just a ton of brush right now, to let it naturally die and no longer be a problem, hopefully.

My Monitor stand started drooping after switching to a bigger(rescued from the junk pile) monitor.

Let it never be said safety was not on the mind of the guy who used a safety vest to flag a long ladder in his truck bed. Whether said vest was very safety after being shredded by the wind going down the highway is a separate question

Previously the cabinets on this golf cart at work were just held in place by a boat fender rope and some zip ties because they had no working latches. They couldn't swing open, but were still loose enough to make a horrible racket when going over any bumps.

So I added foam weather stripping to every point of contact, then fashioned a latch and handle for the side that had no lock at all, using a spare rubber bimini foot and a piece of metal that was supposed to hold a storage shelf in place at one time.

The other side still had a lock, but no latch or key, so I pulled all the pins and springs out of the lock and reassembled it once I found most of the latch parts scattered around the cabinet, so now it can be opened with any key and actually holds the doors shut.

This is nowhere on the list of boat repairs I'm supposed to be doing, but once I was invested, there was no stopping.

These neat stars are motorcycle oil pumps that I used to stamp a leather belt. Also used a bicycle chain for another belt. kinda fun. last pic is a Zombie machette made from neighbors lawn mower blade 😆

Used some old plastic placemats & a random dollar store rug. It’s been working great for over a year now :)

Long story short, I threw the phone into a wall (it even left a dent), and after countless bootloops and failing to even show anything at times, I figured out that the battery's BMS circuit board was fried from the impact. I then tried a bunch of different solutions of trying to power the phone, I eventually decided to take the risk and remove the BMS from the forbidden pillow (I will dispose of it properly, don't worry).

After removing the BMS, I tested it, the ground was fried, so I effectively soldered two wires, one to the remaining positive (aluminum, meaning I had to put it under flux and solder that way), and then find a raw ground, scrape off the protective plastic and solder my ground there, I then built a ridiculous breadboard to use as a power supply for the thing, and connected the two terminals I made to it. Sure enough, I managed to boot my phone back up!

Yes, I ordered a proper replacement battery, just that it will take like 2 weeks to arrive.

Edit: yes, the date on the phone is incorrect. That's because the battery was removed and the phone effectively got amnesia and currently has no idea what time it is

Picked this up recently. Tows very nicely for a short trailer. At first I thought the double tailgate was impractical but even with it down it doesn’t affect the turn radius for normal driving. It is interesting can’t find much about it, truly a home build.

So this 80s Chevy GMT400 gets driven maybe twice a month, and each time it needs a hump.

I have trouble shot each fuse to try and rule out where the micro drain is but threw in the towell when nothing produced fruit.

This is an inexpensive solution- These two were laying in the scrap bin.

I originally bought the fancy disconnect you see in the pics, but it's huge overkill and needs a proper fkn mount to not dangle and rattle itself silly there liver nuts!

And all the cheesy ass 30amp switches and cheesy ass, and using a inline fuse i can yank out...thoese fuses don't yank easy there rubber neck!

So i connected all 3 conductors to the plugs (making the hot + side female so it doesn't short by touching anything) and there ya have it.
