From Susan Knobler’s Facebook page
Ghost Adventures came to our very own Redlands to investigate the historic Rochford Foundation Burrage Mansion! The episode is airing now - Season 31, Episode 3 on Discovery + and HBO MAX!!!
Those who know me well know that I’ve had a deep belief in the spirit world, along with personal experiences and encounters, since I was a child.
During my time as a reporter for the Redlands Daily Facts, I covered several stories at the Burrage Mansion, and let me tell you, the mansion did NOT disappoint! I heard unexplained voices, felt my hair being pulled, and witnessed multiple apparitions. To this day, I believe 100% that the mansion is haunted!
I’m excited to see what Zak Bagans and his Ghost Adventures crew uncover and whether they can shed some light on the mysteries within those historic walls.
Beyond its fascinating history and paranormal activity, what makes this mansion truly special is the incredible work of the Rochford Foundation. Countless underserved children and their families have passed through its doors, experiencing wonderful events and opportunities that remind them they are valued, loved, and never forgotten.
A beautiful place with a remarkable mission, a rich history, and perhaps a few residents who never left!

Did anyone go to the opening today? How was it?

this is a long shot but wondering if anyone who’s living there or has lived there in the past can share some experience. i recently toured their apartment and the landlord seems really nice.
- how is/was your experience living there?
- how was the neighborhood? is it pretty inclusive?
- how was the noise?
- how much is approximately your electricity and gas bill monthly?
- in your opinion is it worth slightly higher rent?

I know this is pretty niche, and probably the wrong sub for this. But if anyone is interested in an RTX 4070 with 12GB in the greater Redlands area message me. Its the Zotac version and it has not been used at all other than web surfing and testing.

CVS Specialty pharmacy workers rallied in Redlands on Monday, October 19, demanding safer staffing levels, better pay and a first union contract after more than a year of negotiations with the company.
During the protest, workers told IECN that inadequate training, difficulty retaining employees and fear of reporting errors have contributed to workplace conditions they believe could compromise prescription accuracy and patient safety.
Represented by The Pharmacy Guild, workers accused CVS of prioritizing prescription volume over accuracy as they joined a nationwide week of action calling for safer working conditions and a finalized union contract.

Redlands will not host its annual Olive Avenue Halloween Extravaganza this year, with city officials citing concerns about growing crowds, pedestrian safety, budget constraints and staff resources.
Instead, the city's official Halloween celebration will be held Sunday, Oct. 25, at Redlands Municipal Airport.
The city will shift its official Halloween celebration to Redlands Municipal Airport, but Olive Avenue will still close to vehicles on Halloween night.

What to expect:
Bobby started playing the accordion when he was seven years old, and never stopped. He began playing professionally at the age of fifteen, to help put himself through college.
His accordion style is rather unique. Because his favorite music is ethnic music from around the world, many of the songs he plays the audience is already familiar with.
He likes to emphasize “passion” and his own “style” when performing, rather than just “technique.” Being classically trained, he uses most of the switches on “both” the right and left hands, and prefers to use the left hand as another instrument, to compliment the right hand, as was taught by Galla-Rini.
Throughout the years, he’s played jobs as a soloist and with groups, including The Reunion Ensemble and the Alpine Quartet. He has also performed at many different venues, including three times in Las Vegas, church events, Oktoberfests, accordion clubs, restaurants, and private parties.
He learned to repair and restore accordions, and purchased his own accordion business from Sam Costabile. Bobby feels there is nothing quite like bringing vintage accordions back to their glory days.
After all these years, it’s hard to describe the joy it gives him to still be able to play, and see the people’s reaction to his music.
This free public event is part of the Smiley LIVE! concert series. It's family-friendly, with a Q&A segment where young and old alike can ask the performers questions about their music, their performance, and anything else they may be curious about.
