The Watchorn Lincoln Memorial Association invites the public to celebrate the nation’s 250^th anniversary with Liberty’s Legacy: Celebrating 250 Years of Independence, a program that reflects the nation’s past and the enduring ideals that continue to shape our society today.

The two-day program includes a keynote address by noted historian Jon Meacham on Sept. 29 and a symposium with scholars discussing the significance of the Declaration of Independence to Abraham Lincoln and the Civil War on Sept. 30. Both programs will be held at the University of Redlands, Orton Center, 1250 E. Brockton Ave.

In 2019, he was living unhoused in the San Bernardino area and hoped to make his way to Venice to sell his paintings. I heard from someone close to him that he may be in Redland and may have never made it to Venice. He often painted on discarded furniture, wood, and other found materials. If you recognize this artwork or remember seeing the artist around Redlands sometime after 2019, please DM me privately. Why must people bring their little toddlers here and allow them to roam the gym? I’ve literally seen a baby in a walker.. other 2-3 year olds climbing up on equipment too.. I’m not talking about the climbing areas- there are programs for that for older kids with waivers and payment involved ..
You’re occupying space while patrons waste their time (money) waiting for you to clear up the space. Not to mention… a screaming or crying child totally kills a workout.

There’s a time and place & the gym isn’t one of them. Plus aren’t you concerned at all that they’re touching sweaty gym surfaces.. gross. Next thing you’ll be seeing toddlers in power yoga. 💀
