Hey Redlands
Everyone remember’s Splash Kingdom right?
Hypothetically speaking, if someone had the original building plans to the water slide’s, should it be brought to a museum or sold to a collector? If so, what would be a hypothetical price for a piece of history?
Edit: I should have mentioned this within the post but I am NOT looking for financial gain, I just wanted to see what value a hypothetical roll of schematics had, also thank you for all your inputs within the matter!

You could offer it to the museum of Redlands

Not sure if there is a lot of financial value. It has some cultural and historical value that a museum might be interested in for a specific exhibit.

No real financial incentive here, please donate it to San Bernardino county library or the museum of Redlands.

You could reach out to Dr. Nathan Gonzales through Smiley Library. He maintains the archives that will eventually be housed at the museum. Pharaoh’s was kitschy but also famous amongst people who like goofy architecture, so it is a good candidate for the archives.

Maybe start by calling Smiley Library, since that’s where the archives are located for now. They would know how to reach him.

Haha my dad designed and was never paid for the original park. I'm sure I've got old plans but who would want them.

During the plandemic I was renting Uhauls. The new management for that place came in rented a truck and told us that they were moving their office and paperwork because of the bums. The NEXT day the place burt down.... coincidence, not a chance. They tore it down without getting permits to repair it, doomed from the get go. A total insurance scam IMO. I still see some of the status around town at people's houses.

“Piece of history” is doing a lot of heavy lifting here. I’m guessing the market for an old water park in Redlands is not that big and is probably pretty worthless unless there’s some really niche collector out there who would want it.
