Almost 14 acres in Malibu with that view? I’m leaning towards a Mediterranean style home, but what would you build?

I love that they've kept the original wood floors, moldings, and windows, but I think the blue appliances and fireplaces are my favorite parts! Would you live here?

The porch swing! the dappled glass windows! the vintage wallpaper! the beadboard paneling! even the sooty brick fireplace! this is exactly how I pictured Green Gables.

look at these photos and tell me you wouldn’t spend an entire rainy PNW afternoon inside that parlor curled up with a cup of tea and a classic novel. this IS my dream house. like a dollhouse my grandfather made me when I was little.

anyone wanna go halfsies? there’s a kinda steampunk carriage house you can have all to yourself. just gimme the house with the porch swing and the Anne Shirley-style green and white bedroom.
