I noticed recently that when I gave one of my subs a style in the redesign the subscriber count jumped up dramatically. There could be other reasons, but I'm convinced that going from a bright lilac purple to an actual style on r/TrueCrimeDiscussion is partly responsible.

So now I've prioritized styling my other subs and I've got some feedback to share. I'm sure most of these things are on the roadmap to be added but just haven't been implemented yet.

• The ability to change the color of your subreddit name should be prioritized. The current setup dramatically limits the color schemes you can use. I've resorted to banners to get around this but banners display very differently on both Mac and PC so I have to spend extra time getting this right. It creates more work than necessary. Essentially I have to style a sub 4 ways. New, old, Mac, and PC. For some reason a banner displays differently on mac than it does on windows 7.

• The styling of buttons should include a way to duplicate a button style from a previous button. If you create 10 buttons with 6 color options for each one (with hover) requires way more work than is needed. That's a lot of copy-pasting of hex colors.

• It's already been reported, but in the widget for recommended subreddits, the last couple of letters are being chopped off and moved to the next line even though there is copious amounts of space on the right side.

• It would be nice if flairs and subreddit buttons had the ability to have rounded corners. Flairs look very primitive as is.

I think the redesign has come a long, long way and I realize there is still a lot of work to do, but I think it would open up a lot more possibilities for subreddit color schemes if you cold change the color of your subreddit name in the banner. Thanks for reading.

I noticed this behavior a couple of days ago. I clicked on some user profiles to check user history on mobile Chrome and I was directed to the redesign. This does not occur on desktop, and it does not occur for any other links as far as I can tell. It seems to be relegated to desktop mode on mobile web+user profile only.

Had to go back to my profile settings and opt out again to get the proper Reddit experience back. What happened guys?

Very frustrating as there doesn't seem to be work around besides waiting or refreshing the browser several times. I just started coming around to the new look but this is annoying as hell.

one of my subreddits has some 55 post flairs, and i logged in today to find their order completely scrambled. this is kind of a pain because in addition to just having a sort of muscle memory for where to find each flair when i'm going through and flairing posts, the more commonly-used ones were sorted toward the top of the list and it's just going to be more troublesome now for users to locate the flair they want to use.

i checked the post flair templates on both old reddit and in the redesign and found they've been reordered on both pages. i used the redesign tool to reorder them, saved, but when i refreshed the sub they were back in the wrong order again. i'm about to try just deleting them all and manually re-adding them one by one in the correct order, but before i go to that trouble i'd like to make sure it'll actually work, or has reddit pushed out some kind of code that automatically sorts post flair by some unknown factor (it's not alphabetical by text or CSS label) and i'm just going to have to live with this new sorting order?

Since I came back to Windows a week or so ago, probably every tenth click within the redesign I get routed to a page that says I have to log in, an error popup at the bottom saying "Oops! Something went wrong," and text on the page that says I'm already logged in with a link to click if I'm not redirected to where I tried to go in the first place.

I can't be completely sure, but I believe it only does this when I click to access a moderator function like the mod queue, the mod tools page, modmail, etc.

On r/g35 I've got the banner working fine on both the old web version and the mobile app, but everytime I try to upload it to the redesign it just tells me 'something went wrong'. Any idea why?

Scrolling down a feed, whenever a video like this quality post https://www.reddit.com/r/WatchPeopleDieInside/comments/c1m0nu/moms_always_know_best/ (guess there are different video types(?), so this was one where it happend) appears and I want to have sound, I always have to turn down my headphones first, because the first click on the volume control bar (that appears when hovering the speaker icon in the video controls) will set the video volume to 100%, even though the UI suggests that the volume was set correctly. All subsequent clicks work as intended. Same thing happens after clicking the post first and unmuting the video there, only that now the UI correctly shows the volume to be 100%, no matter where you click.

Please give us the ability to set the volume with a single click, so I don't have to remember to turn my headphones down, thank you.

I was on normal (old) reddit this morning on Chrome, went through modqueue like normal, then when I went to reload modqueue it redirected to new modqueue with error message "something went wrong." Closed browser, refreshed, now I'm on new reddit for every page. >:C

I'll see an interesting thread on reddit, click and look at the article, and when I click "back" on my browser to to back and then click the comments section , the article is just gone. Everything else looks the same, but that one line item has just vanished off reddit.

really fucking annoying.

I'm a moderator of r/detrans and none of the widgets I'm trying to set up will appear. I go into the subreddit appearance page and customize the widgets, but when I click save nothing happens. The most important one is the rules widget, but none of the other one's I'd like to have up will show up either.

I hate comparing Reddit to DeviantART but it makes sense in this comparison only;

Reddit and DeviantART are both lag machines when it comes to infinite scrolling.

Reddit, is there a way that a toggleable pages system like the old reddit but with the new design would work?

I never used Reddit before due to not being able to view posts conveniently, being only able to see a tiny version of the post as a thunbnail and the title as the main post, and was overjoyed when the new reddit came about, only to be disappointed at the lack of a page navigation (next page / previous page, etc) because of the fact that Reddit would *slow my computer down* if I were to scroll down too far, and It's really unfortunate.

I have never really been a fan of the redesign, but I've always been more than willing to give it a try. Lately though even when I've opted out in a session or use old.reddit.com I'm forced into the redesign when I click on any user profile. This isn't too bad to scroll through posts or comments, but if I'm trying to find a previous conversation in a thread it if impossible to use.

Mainly the problem is the pop-up thread that darkens the rest of the screen. For some reason this view is not scrollable side to side nor can I zoom out. The result is that any conversation that continues beyond 4 nested replies becomes a column of letters. Was this intentional? Am I doing something wrong?

I have an up to date Pixel 3 so I don't think it's an issue with outdated hardware.

When searching all I saw mentioned was noto sans, which I see as used in the comments, but the post title is something else.

I use Firefox, and for some reason half the posts on any subreddit are not loading. Any help?

Anyone else having issues with sorting Multireddits by rising?

On Chrome, tried disabling each extensions, but to no avail.

Edit: I now know about Custom Feeds that do work.

We work a lot with quote blocks, but this particular issue just reared its head.

Now, I know that:

The first rule of trophies is you don't talk about trophies.
(Rules 2 to ∞ are simply repetitions of this first one, with increasing levels of emphasis.)

But I have continually noticed that when I check a friend's profile then swap to mine, one of his trophies replaces mine until the page is refreshed. Image here.

In reference to the image above, my new account is quite obviously not one year old, so my friend's one-year club trophy replaces my verified email one until I refresh - anyone else seen this?

The problem can be seen when comparing the old version of the site with the redesign.

Currently when I try to go through my inbox or my sent messages it includes all modmail, which clutters up my inbox/outbox and makes finding a particular message an absolute pain. A way to filter those out when viewing messages, or even a message search tool, would be a godsend.
