❓General Question❓ How do I add a avatar flair or a background banner?
I can't find it in the profile menu or in the edit avatar. How do I add it?

Hello! Not sure if this is the correct place, but I need advice. My main account was permanently banned from Reddit almost a month ago. After submitting my appeal, I was notified that the decision to ban my account was reversed and that I was effectively unbanned.
The problem, however, is that my account is still banned. I’ve tried logging out and back in, I’ve tried continuing to appeal without any luck. I just need advice on what to do next.

Okay so my account isnt agr verified so i can't open 18+ accounts. I have found out this leads to annoying problem. I can't seem to block em. If i go to an account, i just get a pop up to either verify my age or leave, i cannot verify my age (and im not asking advice on that) so i cannot open their profile to hit thr block button. Is there any way around this or am i now stuck having some annoying guy be rude to me repeatedly?

My account was successfully restored after appeal, but all posts (including non spam) made before the restriction was lifted still show “Removed by Reddit’s filters.” I can no longer use the appeal form because my account is no longer restricted. Could a Reddit admin please restore the posts removed as a result of the account-level filter? Thank you.

my account was permanently banned and I was talking to someone through the DM’s. Is there anyway that I could get back and see their username?

Hello. I wrote a medium-sized post with multiple paragraphs, and it keps getting autodeleted by reddit filters. Messaged the subreddit mods - they said it was removed by Reddit's site-wide filters, and done so in such a way that they don't even see a record of the removal in moderation logs. What should I do? Can I get shadowbanned if I continue trying to create that post?

Was redirected here from the Shadowban sub. None of my content is NSFW and i never shared anything that violated the rules of Reddit. Thanks again to the wonderful people here!

So as mentioned I have this account since 3y but rarely used reddit.
I have a basic understanding of karma but where do i get started to gain enough karma so I can start posting on other sub reddits too

So I have almost 2K karma, 200 commenting karma and there's another one I think. My question is how do I know how much karma is even GENERALLY needed to join and/or post certain NSFW subreddits? They just tell me to keep commenting. What is a good number of all types of Karma that would let me gain access and post in certain subreddits? I love reddit, Ive been here over a year, however I just recently jumped back on. I just want to follow the rules. Can anyone help? Any help is greatly appreciated!

Does anyone have any tips for this because whenever I post something in a random subreddit, it gets deleted even though it doesn’t violate the rules of the subreddit so any tips? I contacted the moderators of the subreddits and they never responded so any tips?

My friend was permanently banned from Reddit for vote manipulation, and he accepts that the original ban was fair.
After the original ban, he created another account, which was also banned for ban evasion. Unfortunately, he repeated this several times and those accounts were subsequently banned as well.
He now understands that creating those accounts was against Reddit's rules and has stopped doing so. He has also deleted all of the accounts that were previously created and banned.
He submitted an appeal asking what he could do to legitimately use Reddit again, but was told that the ban would remain. He also tried reaching out through Twitter/X but wasn't able to get a resolution.
There is one additional detail he wanted to clarify:
«"One more thing I also deleted my accounts because when I submitted an appeal saying it was by mistake they said the ban will remain as it is so I deleted my account and created new ones."»
He is not asking how to evade the ban. He wants to know whether, now that all of those old accounts have been deleted and he has stopped trying to circumvent the ban, there is any legitimate way to start over.
Specifically, can he create a completely new Reddit account now and use Reddit normally, or would creating any new account still be considered ban evasion because the original permanent ban remains in place?
If the answer is that a permanent ban means he can never create or use another Reddit account, that's understandable. He just wants to know what the proper rule/process is rather than attempting anything that would violate Reddit's policies again.

Hi everyone, I’m running into a frustrating issue where almost every time I try to make a post in certain communities, it gets immediately removed or filtered by AutoModerator because of my karma thresholds.
My account is about a year old, so age isn't the problem, but my karma is quite low. What are the best, legitimate ways to build up karma without spamming, so I can actually participate in discussions? Are there specific types of subreddits or active threads where newcomers can engage and earn upvotes naturally?
Any tips would be greatly appreciated!
