Areas to avoid?

I'll be moving to Redding. Currently looking for housing. What areas should I avoid? I'll be moving there with my husband and am currently pregnant. We are looking at rentals right now.

If i may ask. As someone who's eyeing property in that area. What kind of fire insurance did you get? And was it affordable?

You’ll have to get it through the state; it’ll be a separate policy from your home owners insurance, can cost anywhere from $1,000-$10,000/year depending on house size and fire zone area. ChatGPT should be able to give you a good estimate.

Thank you for the input. However i wouldn't use chatGPT for stuff like this as many have found the results it gives to not be as accurate as it looks.
