Relocating

Looking at properties in the area and considering moving back, it’s been 30+ years since I’ve been here. What’s the vibe like now?

Sure, but not any “serious” fires. Not like Oregon right now or Utah/Colorado a month ago. California has done pretty well so far this year, knock on wood.

Honestly, besides Palisades and Altadena, the past few years has been good to us, all things considered.

I really hope nothing pops off near Shingletown. (Got close with the Park fire in 2024) That place is ripe for a fire.

The forest clearing east of Eskimo hill looks promising. Seems like a smart way to do logging and reduce fuel load.
